The product is good looking but didn’t fit well with my feet. They are a bit too wide. Also the blades were never sharpened, which the seller did not mention.

It is comfortable.The blades were sharpened but not to the sharpness I needed. the blades were slipping every now and then when I tried to building up speed.The strap didn't break after the first use (as mentioned in some of the negative posts). Even if I did, this can be solved with a new strap and some craftsmanship (go to Home Depot and/or Michaels).One thing that none of the skates address is the foot bed. One may think you don;t need this, but ice is like concrete. It's not comfortable [to stand on] after 2 hours. I recommend you buy a footbed.This skate addressed the foot comfort my bauer 8s didn't. I was told to get a skate size-1 compared to my regular foot size; but in the 8s my foot was tight against the footbed which was hard as a rock and there was some chafing. So in hindsight the recommendation should be [Shoe Size]-0.5 + footbed.In my 8s I'd stop after every 3 laps to shake the pain out of you feet. In these, I could skate for an hour before I needed to sit. I think a footbed and tighter ice skate laces will address the looseness I feel in these.

They feel good and appear to be well made. I wish they would lace up a little tighter, but probably after they are broken in they will. Really great for the price!

I was looking for inexpensive hockey skates that had good ankle support to use for recreational pond skating. I decided to give these a try since they appeared to be the closet to what I was looking for (I liked the idea of the velcro strap for support). They arrived quickly and fit perfect (I wear an 11 and ordered an 11). I also ordered my wife a pair (in the pink style) as a xmas present and she said the size was true to her shoe size. We got them sharpened by a local guy and our first time out on the ice was just as we hoped! Good ankle support, comfortable, warm, easy to put on/take off. My wife and I were both pleased with the purchase. We had no issues so far with the velcro strap or the laces breaking; but due to other reviews we will make a conscious effort not to over tighten them just in case. Overall I would buy this product again and feel for the price range the quality, design and style exceeded our expectations.

So comfortable! When I read the reviews that said these were too wide, I knew I had to buy them. As a guy with a size 13E flat foot, finding comfortable things to put on my feet is a little tricky. These were the ticket. I will need to toss in an arch support insert, but other than that, they are great.The blades come very sharp, with a very pronounced hollow grind. In fact, they were too sharp. However, after a few hours on the ice, they wore down to a normal sharpness. They cut in well, support my ankle well, and all in all are pretty damn good. Especially worth what I paid.I don't think these would be good for anyone who did more than skate around a rink, but for my needs, they are wonderful.

Does not support well.

My 7 year old decided to take up hockey so naturally daddy wanted to skate with him. I'd say I skate a total of ten times a year maybe more as my boy continues to play, and these skates are very comfortable, and warm. I wear a 9.5 us size and got these in a 10. The fit perfectly. I have not had any of the issues with the laces that others have had, I think they are a great option for those looking for something the skate around in.

Seem to run close to actual shoe size, as opposed to typical hockey skates, which tend to run about a size large
