For the case and battery...
I bought it for the case and discarded the internal parts. You do have to remove both silver parts before it will open. Looks great and I have no complaints.

We returned this. Maybe it was defective but tried numerous times to get it to work but it would not work. Watched a outlet of videos and did everything the way we should.

Couldn’t find programming instructions
Bought for a 2015 Chevy suburban, but couldn’t find the programming instructions. Other reviews said to switch the computer board from the old fob and the new one. Took about 2/3 minutes to switch it and it worked immediately.

Works Great, 2017 Chevy Silverado & Car Keys Express EZ Installer (Sold Separately)
One of my 2017 Original Remotes was causing the doors to randomly lock and unlock and the side mirrors fold in while driving my 2017 Chevy Silverado LTZ.Local Dealer wanted $210 to supply and program a new key fob and I would have to make an appointment.I bought 2 of these and The EZ Installer (which also came with a Fob) so 3 Key Fobs for $113.38 with next day delivery from Amazon - then 2 minutes to read the EZ installer manual, 2 minutes to program 3 remotes and reprogram one of my original remotes (the non glitching one).The remotes are virtually indistinguishable from the original, function identically, all they are missing is the Chevrolet Bow Tie Symbol on the back. Great price and quality
These things are so expensive elsewhere and when I saw them on Amazon for our exact truck fob, I jumped on them right away. Still great and sturdy even after several months of daily use. Highly recommend.

Not easy to install on own.I called a lock smith to do it.They work great tho.

Couldn’t find programing instructions
Could not get the new key fob to program. Used the card insert and it said could not find programming that the type of vehicle. So I just put the old key fob guts into the new key fob.

Electronics included
This spare remote was exactly what I was looking for. Came with the battery installed and the circuit board inside (not just an empty shell). I was hoping to program this remote on my own to save some money. I was not so lucky in that department. Needed to take it to the Dealership to get programmed and they soaked me good however, I had no choice (I own a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4). Remote works as advertised and 'appears' to be factory.

Love them
Okay read the reviews and I wanted these to replace damaged OEM skins. Popped them apart and put my remote circuit boards inside these and they work awesome. Just pop the side chrome bezels off and they open up.

Ordered from Canada for my vehicle and after programming at the dealership it was a direct replacement for my old one.

Works just fine
I had the dealer program it for me and it works just fine. You can definitely tell it’s not as quality as the oem. The white on the buttons is kind of yellow, and there isn’t a Chevrolet emblem on the back but other than the aesthetics of it. It works just fine.
