Poorly Designed and Manufactured Folding Ruler
This was purchased less than three weeks ago. One of the brass hinges has come away from the wood already making the whole ruler useless. On arrival the ruler looked twisted; the construction was lightweight and lacked substance; and I suspect the wood used should have been hardwood rather than the very light softwood that was used. I can’t recommend this folding ruler.

folding ruler - simples.
My grandad. my dad, and now me, all painter & decorators, all used this type of folding ruler, great for measuring, folds away easy and idea for straight line marking or 90 degree angles.

I bought this wooden measure for the garden. Plants come with a height and spread in centimetres. Well I am someone of a certain age who cannot translate centimetres to inches. Fits in my trug perfectly!
