Best rub I’ve used so far
Best run I used on my pulled pork. Big fan of the show and will be trying the holy cow next on a brisket. Definitely worth the money.

Delicious!
This was excellent on pork tenderloin, rubbed with honey mustard as a base and then coated with this stuff. The powdered honey in this excellent, but you need to be careful it doesn't burn in a frying pan. We did them in an oven and they tasted great!

Meat Church Honey Hog is awesome!
This is the perfect rub, takes very little product and provides excellent sweetness to chicken or pork. Went thru 3/4 of 14oz bottle in no time. Again, the product went very far and only takes a little product to do the job. Have used on 5 racks of ribs over past 2 months and still have 3/4 bottle. I use more product than most people! I wet ribs or chicken, apply even coat of Honey Hog. Then wrap in butcher paper (From Amazon) and then plastic wrap. Mark outer plastic with rub used. Then into fridge for 2-3 days to ferment into meat. When ready to grill, bbq or smoker, pull from fridge when ready to start cook. Open wraps and apply 2nd light coating onto meat. Then onto preheated cooker. This really drives the rub into the meat and the final coat when cooking provides excellent outer layer or crust. Meat Church also makes an all purpose "The Gospel" which I recently tried. It is a NON SALTY great BBQ with slight sweetness on back end rub. Have used on chicken, burgers, tasty! The other night, this lightweight had 3 beers while cooking burgers and mashed potatoes for dinner. Must have been the beer but when I sat down to eat, I shook The Gospel all seasoning onto the mashed potatoes which already had salty butter. Mixed the seasoning into the mashed and wow did they taste wonderful. My wife does not appreciate spices and rubs, says I buy to much. Explained that rubs all have their place. The Gospel All Seasoning will also be great on eggs or steamed veggies. Another is the Meat Church Holy Cow rub for Beef. It has a strong black pepper flavor which I like in smoked meats on occasion. Tried Holy Cow on a Tri-Tip past weekend. Did the rub, wrap, fridge 2 days. Then another layer as Traeger was heating up. Definitely was obvious pepper coating. Thought after2 coats and 2 days penetration into meat, it would be over peppered after cook. Used comp blend or strong and sweet pellets of Hickory, Mesquite, Red Oak & Apple. Intentionally strong wood smoker pellets to try and force to strong of flavors into meat when cooked. Smoked with strong pellets at 150-200 for 5 hours to meat temp of 125. Pulled, wrapped in 2 layers foil, towel an into cooler. Let sit wrapped at rare for 3 hours (got busy). Then to finalize meat outer shell and cook to rare, fired propane grill to 400 and high heat seared for 5min per side. The placed on meat platter with alum foil tent for 1 hour while I cleaned smoker and took a shower. Then consumed 3 beers as "my reward" and started cutting into the tri-tip. With all that, was one of the best so far with no over-peppered or over-smoked flavor!! The right rub done correctly with choice of wood, coals or pellets makes all the difference. Meat Church makes a "limited version" which is 50'50 mix of All Seasoning + Holy Cow Peppered. Since my wife is not fond of black pepper, with those two purchased, I can create my own ratio depending on type of meats. Just ordered Honey Hog Hot + Fajitas, both available from same seller and made my Meat Church BBQ. I live in Eastern Washington State (Spokane) where most think "Lawrys" would be a BBQ Rub. Guests are amazed to how many diff types and company rubs I have. They always say "yum" when eating. Some others I have tried have to much salt as a main ingredient, which breaks down meat fibers. However, you can taste the over-salt unless purposely over-smoking (hiding). I have tried 3 of Meat Church rubs and NONE have any salty tastes. I judge spices and rubs with the open top, wet and dip pinky, then place on tip of tongue. If to much salt, you can taste immediately, if not, taste will transfer to sides and back of tongue where bbq or sweet flavors are picked up. Some other companies, although new product, are bland with the taste test and have short shelf like once opened. I purchased bottle of Honey Hog last Fall, opened and used it 2 times, then put away for Winter. Kept it in box in cool 60 degree basement for 6 months. When Spring arrived, I thought Honey Hog would barely pass taste test. Not the case, it was full flavored sweetness. It is now late October, product has been opened for 1 year and still has strong taste. Very few rubs and spices last that long. Depends on ingredients and keeping lid on tight when not in use. Try the other flavors, you will not be disappointed. Same seller on my orders, Premium Grilling, Inc. All received very fresh from sellers stock!!
