The mask is very very thin, probably thinner than the kind you get at the dollar store. The lights are nice but only if they all work. Only one of my gloves works. The other one has globs of glue in the casing of the battery back and so the batteries don't meet correctly and it only works intermittently. And the glove that does work only lights on one side , the lights aren't run thru the whole glove just the one side. So I guess this is probably fun for a kid to use as a quick play toy but not for long time use or if you need it to endure any type of wear and tear.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for an easy-to-use costume for handing out treats, I think I hit paydirt! Here's what I like: - It's simple - a slip-on mask and a pair of gloves. - The mask and gloves have their own LED effects with several different modes. - While the mask will require you to provide 2 AA batteries, the gloves come with provided pill batteries. - The mask is one size fits all. The gloves are better for smaller hands, but my XL hands do "fit" with some coaxing. - The control for the mask is on tethered clip which is long enough for belt level. Controls for the gloves are in each wrist. Some comments... - The mask is thin plastic, so you'll want to handle with bit of care, otherwise it can crack. - A hoodie will hide the mask's strap. - The gloves are basically gardening gloves with the LEDs woven into the material. - The mask could be too scary for little kids, so you'll need to lighten up the delivery for them. This costume is pretty much perfect for me to hand out treats. It's easy enough to put on and off in between groups, and still has enough effect to be fun.

This is a mask and gloves combo that glow bright green through the use of a AA battery powered light pack for the mask, and battery- included mini lights placed into a small pocket in the wrist of the gloves.The mask itself looks great in regular light, it is very thin and brittle plastic but it is a smiling skull with creepy threads/stitches over one eye and the mouth, as well as other stitches made of a plasticky wire. It only covers the front of the face, then straps around the head with a single Velcro elastic band, with a wire coming out of the front of the mask to provide power and control of the light. So you would probably have to wear a hood in order to give the best effect possible.The gloves appear to be simple, soft gardening style gloves that have a light pack inserted into the wrist of each. After you pull a tab to make the connection for the battery, the gloves can light up a similar pale green. And very dark conditions the mask and gloves look incredible. In daytime or full light conditions, it just simply appears to be a standard, relatively cheap mask, with household gloves.If you are going to a Halloween party, or doing trick or treating mainly at night, this costume is incredibly creepy and atmospheric, without being overboard. The presence of the stitching over the eye and mouth may be frightening to some small children, and can be objectionable to some people, although I would not consider it obscene or graphic.Overall if you're looking for a very simple costume that's actually quite portable as well, you can place this mask and glove kit in your book bag, make sure you're wearing a hoodie or coat with a hood, you can put it on instantly without having to change any clothes, and you will have a memorable Halloween costume that night.

The LEDs are nice and bright on this mask, and it's still easy to see out. I'll be handing out candy wearing this and a dark cloak. The kids are in for it!
