This with the other piece revived my 5 year old vacuum!

I have a Porter-Cable 5-gallon wet-and-dry. This foam filter goes under the fabric filter for dry use, and is the filter for wet-use. With age, the original foam filter died (seam broke). This is the correct replacement part.

These meet the specs for my model number. Stanley is very precise in its descriptions of filters. It is easy to find one to fit. It's well made and should last. It is a replacement for when I need it. I have not used it, but I have used the original Stanley foam filter.
