English Double Devon Cream 1lb

This is really wonderful. The only thing is... when refrigerated the contents get quite solid, so you have to let it sit out for a while for it to get to a workable consistency. Great on scones and English muffins... and pretty much anything else you put it on! Delicious and recommended.

The Devonshire Cream was for my 92 year old mother who is from Yelverton, S. Devon. She has been in the USA since the end of WW2, thus not much access to Devonshire Cream, so needless to say, she was thrilled to no end. We don't have Prime, and yet it arrived the day after we ordered it! Five Stars and many thanks!

This is a product that I've always liked but, wow, I've never received it in this condition before. It was completely inedible and I definitely won't be wasting any money buying this product in the future.

Bought for the visit from my British son in law. He was very pleased with my surprise. Made him feel like he was home. Of course, he had to share with me. Delicious!!

I really like Devon cream for my scones. Not quit the same as the fresh one buys in England, but a good substitute.

Purchased this on 9/24/19. Sat in mail box for a few hours. Put it in the fridge immediately until today 11/17/19 when I opened it for the first time to a smell not familiar to me. My husband said it was old/sour. Put it in a hot cup of coffee (love it this way) just to see it curdle up......means it’s sour. Expiration date on lid reads 3/2020. Will never buy this again from Amazon or any product that needs to be kept refrigerated.
