great highchair, nice on the eyes, easy to clean
Being a parent, I knew that I wanted a highchair that was ergonomic, had an adjustable footrest, and was easy to clean (smooth finish for easy wipe downs and limited nooks and crannies). This ticked all the boxes! Plus the colour options are all so nice. We bought the black and brown one and it goes well with our wooden dining table. It has a small footprint and the legs don't stick out as much as some other highchairs as that can become a tripping hazard. Tray and straps are easily removable for cleaning and all surfaces are easily accessible for wiping after meals.Only cons might be the lower backrest, tray could be wider, and if you want extra comfort, you'd have to buy the cushion set separately. At this price point, it would be nice if it was included with the chair itself.Other than that, we have been using it for 4 months now with our baby girl and no complaints!!

Bugaboo Giraffe may be the best high chair in the market (+comparison to Lalo)
I initially bought the Lalo chair (2nd pic) for my 6 month old baby who had just started eating solids, and I found the price ($250) reasonable and the aesthetic in tune with my kitchen. However I decided to return it - I wanted something more sturdy, with better straps and white in color (Lalo is stable but straps are very flimsy, too easy to open, and i did not like the vegan leather insert - not machine washable. Also, the black color actually shows all the mess more.) I did a bit of research and found the Bugaboo Giraffe. Even though it’s a full 100 bucks more expensive than the Lalo, to me it’s worth every penny.First off, I was struck by the quality of the chair. I think it’s closest to Stokke Steps high chair in price and in construction. I did not go with the Stokke mainly because I read in the reviews that suction plates and cups don’t stick to the table insert. After buying and using the Bugaboo, i would rate Bugaboo over both Lalo and Stokke. Here are a few reasons why: As you can see in the first picture, my baby sits perfectly straight and has her feet touching the steps, which is perfect posture with support. (If you want to read about good posture while eating on high chairs for babies, i recommend Solid Start’s high chair comparison. Sadly they did not rate the Bugaboo but totally should have! They rate the Steps highly for the perfect posture reason.) Lalo has a deeper seat, which I thought was better at first, but it’s not bc my baby’s feet are dangling and she could never touch the foot rest even on the high setting. Bugaboo’s straps are just so much better than Lalo’s. They stay in place, are padded and very secure. The foot stool (as well as the seat) is my favorite due to the no tools required, 1 second click and adjust feature directly on the foot stool and chair base. It cleans off super nice, no crevices like on the Lalo. It has lesser footprint than the Lalo but is actually more stable and sturdy. I bought it with the baby insert, and the pad (those cost me extra - I would have preferred at that price at least the padding would be included.) Alas, i trust we’ll use and love this chair for years to come. When the baby insert comes off, it becomes a beautiful toddler chair where you can adjust both the seat height and foot pedal height super easily. Hope this is helpful for parents mind boggled at the diversity of high chairs in the market, and perhaps hesitant to spend the big bucks.

Attractive. Good quality.
Looks great. Very easy to put together. Should have included the cushions. It would not be comfortable for a baby without the cushions, but they make you spend an extra $50 to buy these separately. Over-priced like most baby items. Unfortunately I missed the sale that came right after I bought it.

This is Ridiculous!
Yes, that's right. Ridiculous. Ridiculously amazing! For one, the item arrived promptly and the packaging was lightweight and compact.Second, the product itself is BEAUTIFUL. Stunning really, with a sleek construction, smooth finish, matte off-white and beechwood tones, and small profile that stands 33 1/2" tall (to the top of the seat) and 14 1/2" wide (from the widest part of the tray).Third, its usability is unmatched. Other brands have troubles with footrest adjustments, tray table removal, and assembly. This product boasts 9 adjustable footrest positions along with 4 adjustable positions for the seat. The tray attaches and detaches with a click, and can be done one handed. A smooth, but not slick, tray surface allows plates to suction with ease. It took 20 minutes to assemble and 5 of those minutes were spent reading the directions.Chief among all points is its safety; it has a 5 point padded harness with a safety button that cannot be undone by a child. The arched legs are sturdy and cannot be easily tripped over. The feet have non-slip grips. The tray slides on and clips in the back, preventing little hands being pinched.Modern and elegant, this Bugaboo high chair is now a proud addition to our household, and by far my favorite purchase on Amazon.Thank you designers, thank you manufacturers, thank you packagers, and thank you Amazon.

Loveeeee this highchair
The no tools easy click adjustment is so convenient. My 6 month old uses this and her feet touch the highest setting and is 85th percentile for her height. The material quality is amazing and I just love this highchair. The price is a sticker shocker but hey you pay for quality and longevity.
