i found this book very easy reading, and very accessible. i find it hard to get into a lot of books that are factual - yet i was spellbound from the moment i read the first page. The meditations are easy to follow and I have had some fantastic experiences. i have sat in Flavias faery workshop at mbs shows and find her very interesting to listen to and very passionate about what she does. i was so pleased when i realised there was a book to read up at home and practise more in depth. If you meet her, you would see that the title Faery Shaman sits very well with her personality and I feel how gifted we are for her to be able to pass on this knowledge, to help heal the planet.I have read the other reviews and feel that one was more than a bit harsh, and personal towards the author. Many of Flavias teachings have been very helpful to my spiritual progression and development.After all, the term 'shaman' meansA person who is regarded as having access to the world of spirit, who enters into a trance during ritual and practises divination and healing and the teachings of shamanism focus on connection to nature and promote the wellbeing of all creation. The shaman conducts ceremonies and rituals, sacred dance and pilgrimages to places of power in nature. To my perspective faeries are the most shamanic beings possbile! and of course, the description of shamanism perfectly describes how Flavia works.i highly recommend this book and the fantastical world of the fae xx

Lovely inspiring sparkling little masterpiece. Full of wonderful spiritually creative absorbing and interesting facts, stories, ideas and knowledgable guidance for invoking more fun healing laughter and happiness into your life. If you feel like being uplifted, empowered and allowing your true light and beauty to shine just like this lovely author has done then look no further ~ this book is a must have for everyone who enjoys their spirituality, Nature and folk lore and who has a twinkle in their eye and a sparkle in their step and knows there is something deeper to explore here ( yes of course there is and this book is your gateway ! ) If you would like to increase your knowledge and know how to connect or connect even more deeply to the delightful energetic Healing Fairy Realms.
