works well enough EDIT: 10/10
Not the right size for a circle pad, but it works. I originally left a 1 star review but that was not accurate of the product because I was frustrated in trying to repair my system. It isn’t the same as an OEM stick, but maybe I just need to break it in a littleEDIT: After several months and more 3ds circle pad replacements, I prefer this over OEM! Its not rubber, but plastic, meaning that the possibility for the replacement part to deteriorate or "peel off" is practically gone. The plastic at first feels strange but you get used to the feel right away in my case. I've repaired multiple devices and they all feel great with this circle pad.

Follow the Guide on I Fix It . com and buy yourself a 000 Philips
Feels almost like the original. After following the guide on I Fix It and taking my time, I was able to get this replaced easily. Just remember to take it slow and don't get frustrated.

Feels like it should.
This is actually one of the easier 3DS repairs to perform. You don't have to remove any boards. After you get the 3DS open, the circle stick is right there, held on with two screws. I can see where this would be a challenge for someone who doesn't have much electronic repair experience though as there are a couple of delicate parts to contend with during this repair. As far as quality goes, after I installed it, it felt pretty good with minimal drag. It feels pretty close to the original when playing a game. It is not quite OEM quality though as the plastic does have more "give" to it than the original. Given that, it's hard to say if it will hold up to abuse as well as the original but time will tell. I will update my review accordingly.

Easy fix
My son fixed it with just a little help. Slightly smaller than the original but hardly noticeable. Surface is more plasticee than rubberee. Son said it took a little getting use to.

Stop
If you’re looking to replace your 3DS XL thumb stick, this is NOT the one you’re looking for. It does not even fit on the original 3DS. Hope this saves your money, and I hope that whoever is selling these realizes what device they are actually for and fixes their mistake

Horrible Replacement Thumb Stick
This replacement Thumb Stick is smaller than the OEM one and the part where your thumb goes is NOT made of rubber. It is entirely one piece of plastic. I am returning it and taking my money elsewhere.
