This is a nice trash can that looks great and is very functional. The lid opens very easily and seals smells. I really like this trash can for my bathroom. Good battery life!

I received this on March 4th. It no longer works and it looks like the seller, Bringing Back Creativity, is no longer in business! So that’s just $ down the toilet!

I was so excited to get this for my home office so I immediately put it together when it arrived. First off, the ring with the bag clips was so confusing. The instructions, though they seem straight-forward, don't explain how the ring is supposed to fit onto the body. It doesn't fit correctly and seems too small for the can and too big to fit on the bottom of the lid. It's only used to secure the trash bag so I put it aside. After getting the batteries into the lid (batteries are not included, btw) I began using it right away. Unfortunately, the sensor to open the lid is not sensitive at all so I had to continually wave my hand over it to get it to open. Then, when I would try to open it, the lid would only open partially over and over again (Think of a mouth saying 'nom nom nom nom'). Finally, I had to shut it off. I threw away the original box not thinking I'd need to return the can, so I might be stuck with a black trash can with a manual lid. Bummer!

Sensitive motion detection. Almost too sensitive. Great value for the money though!! Looks great. Small.

They work great they open really quick and takes a sec before closing. They look really pretty too

This was a very weird setup for holding the trash liner. I generally use shopping bags as my can liners and didn't find the "clips" very useful. As a matter of fact, one clip broke the first time I tried to attach the bag. So I just lift the lid off and lay the bag in with the edges around the top and replace the lid.As for operation, my hand needs to be 6 inches away from the unit just to open it. Not very useful as I'm 6'3" tall. I had expected it to react with a bit more distance.The can feels pretty sturdy, almost like it could be used as a step stool. It's got some weight to it.While I like the idea of this unit, I think I would have been happier with something that had a foot pedal. I do like that the lid closes on it's own.Finally, I was in the bathroom the other day and used the can. Something happened to this thing because it began to uncontrollably open and close on it's own. I had to remove the batteries, and I waited another minutes before putting them back in. That seemed to do a good job resetting it. I probably wouldn't buy this again.

It’s attractive, not bulky and works perfectly. Excellent product and the price is great.

The lid closes and immediately opens up again. It's not working properly. It looks OK, but is not functioning well. I would not recommend.
