Accurate sizing and like the pockets, padding and high waist. The waist did roll down a bit during a 12 mile bike ride bit no issues in the pool or run.

Because of the type of bike seat that I use, I need cycling shorts that don't have a super-thick pad; I decided to give triathlon shorts a try. Based on the reviews, I decided to try the Synergy Elite Tri Shorts. I was pleased to find that these shorts fit me well and I REALLY appreciate that the leg bands are not so super-snug that they pinch and give me that sausage-thigh bulge at the leg band (hey, not all of us cyclers are skinny-minnies). The mesh pocket isn't super large but it's big enough to hold my lip balm and some small Kind bars. So far, I'm happy with these shorts and purchased a second pair. Hopefully they will hold up well; the quality seems to be good and the price is reasonable for this type of specialty item.

I like the way these fit. They don,t dig into my thighs and are comfortable for longs rides. I like the high waist and the back pockets for your fuel. I would not wear them for triathlons. Way too much padding, in my opinion. I cant imagine how much water would collect in the padding and or how it would feel on the run. However, I think they are better for cycling only and not so thick that you feel like your wearing a diaper. Also, you cant beat the price for cycling shorts!

*Update* I have also purchased the updated design that has side pockets. These are the perfect shorts! I can put my phone, gels, headphones, keys in the pockets when I am riding or going to and from a class or ride. They fit so comfy over my tummy, nice, high and comfortable waistband.Original Review:This is my second pair of elite tri shorts and I love them! The fabric and fit are unmatched. I wear them for training, cycling, racing and competing because they feel so comfortable and fit so well. A great basic pair to have in your kit!

I just tried these on. I love the high waist and the elastic around the legs. Good coverage around the rear end. I think they run just a little small but they will do. I have my tri this weekend so we'll see how they hold up

I got my normal biker short size and it was WAY too tight, I couldn't even get it over my hips which I normally have no issue with.

I got these just in time for the Lake Tahoe Tri. I know you should not try new gear before trying them during race conditions, but they were awesome. They were very comfortable and love the fact the legs did not ride up at all, great during both the ride and run. Padding was just right for the ride, but not a diaper during the run. What a bonus having the pockets in the back. I will certainly wear these often for training and Tris.

These are great quality. Nice high waist! Not sure if I would race in them as the pad is thick however I have not tried yet. Also a nice length. Keep up the good work on this brand!
