Didn't like the fact that there wasn't enough screws to completely fill all the shelves. Once I placed the books on the shelves the wight was to much. The bottom kept on getting stuck to the base which makes it very difficult to rotate.

Put together in one night. While the directions are pretty basic, it make sense putting together. Took about an hour with one person. Lots of screws. Definitely sturdy.

If I could give it zero stars I would. It is foam boards covered with a very thin film of pvc. Some of the hole don't quite line up with the boards that are supposed to fit like a 3D puzzle piece. It isn't until you hear the crack that you know it doesn't fit. A couple of times the crack didn't show, the others were ugly. Comes with flat head screws, expecting them to be flush when tightened. Nope, some did, others didn't, the foam didn't catch all the screws the right way. It didn't come with enough screws. Also, didn't come with anything to cover the screw heads or the foam ends that are visible when the pieces are fit together.If you plan on putting anything heavy on it, I expect it would collapse. I am going to use it for DVDs so it may work. I will be hoping my cats stay off it, I don't think it will survive them playing on it. If you have anyone roughhousing in your home or just clumsy...you will need to make sure it is protected from being run into.Or just look for something else.

I can see where this won't be the right shelf for a LOT of people, but it was absolutely perfect for what I bought it for and I can't believe how much this silly little shelf solved a daily problem and made my life so much better.The GOOD: I needed to ditch the weird hand-me-down end table thing I had been using as a night stand forever. It was low and cluttered and didn't have enough space and frankly was just ugly. I had shopped around for years and just never found anything I loved so I stuck with it. I was shopping for something else when I stumbled upon this shelf and it seemed like a weird solution, but maybe perfect in its unconventionalness. I have a 100+ year old house with a LOT of unused vertical space and my bedroom has some tall built in cabinets on the sides of the spot where my bed goes so there is a limited amount of space for nightstands. This shelf has a relatively small footprint, but a ton of vertical storage space which was EXACTLY what I needed, the fact that it revolves was just icing on the cake(it's so open, I don't need to actually spin it). Now I've got 5 shelves: 1)a shelf for all my vitamins 2)a shelf with books I'm reading, my kindle and some snacks 3)a shelf with a box of tissues(they fit perfectly vertically and you can pull them through the hole), remotes, a caddy with small stuff(reading glasses, nail file, lip balm, pens, etc), water glass and a place to charge my phone at night 4) a shelf with laptop and lap desk 5) bottom shelf for cats to lounge on. I've even considered putting a plant up on the top of it.I had no problem putting this shelf together, the instructions made sense and only a couple of times did I have to stop and think a step through to make sure I was putting things together in the right direction. (it would have helped if the side pieces had a little sticker that told you which direction was inside/outside and top/bottom, but it wasn't a deal breaker and when I screwed it up it was easily fixable). The wood is soft so putting the screws in by hand is easy and it came with a screwdriver.The BAD: It's made out of some kind of light weight processed board so this will not work for people with rowdy kids/animals or anyone trying to put a lot of weight on it. I've never had any furniture made out of something like this, it has a kind of eggshell coating on the pieces, and I can see where it would easily get chipped with a lot of rough handling. I can also see where shipping might be a problem where it shows up totally damaged. Mine was fine though, none of my pieces were damaged.I was missing a couple of screws, but they were just where you put the top on it and are doubling up on each side. It wasn't a big deal and I'm sure I could have easily just found a few more to finish it, they're a normal size. Because this is made to pop together like a 3D puzzle before you put the screws in, I can see where a lot of people might try to force it and end up breaking it. It might have been good to come with a small rubber mallet to encourage you to just tap the pieces together, but I had no problem tapping them together with the heel of my palm. It's also good if you have another set of hands to help you do this when you start putting all 4 sides into the base, you have to work your way around it a little bit at a time, but it's still very easy as long as you're not manhandling it.The UGLY: unfortunately the photo of it is kind of a lie, those pretty solid white sides aren't the reality of this shelf. That's where the shelves have 2 tabs that insert on every level and 2 screws that go into it from the outside(real photo included here). I didn't have an issue with my screws not going in flush, that was fine, but they are definitely obvious and don't have any kinds of covers so it's ugly. It doesn't really bother me and I've been considering painting those sides or finding some kind of cool contact paper to cover them in anyway.

Amazing craftsmanship. I want to buy more but non available.
