Great pictures - great value
Great first time bridge camera. Easy to use, lightweight offers excellent value for money if you’re a novice photographer and aren’t ready to invest in something with a heftier price tag. The camera takes up to a 32mg memory card (I brought 64!).

Not good at night
A great beginners camera. Fantastic zoom lens but fails when it comes to night time photography. We have tried this camera out at different natural light levels and using artificial light. Setting can be a bit fiddly but we manage mostly on automatic. Great sharp photos although Macro is a little on the weak side.

Avoid Kodak Pixpro cameras
Camera appeared good value but very quickly developed charging issues. Many other customers online clearly have similar issues with this. Their customer services in Europe are appalling/non-existent. Endless Kodak websites promising support/live-chat/FAQs/technical services etc that will get you precisely nowhere!! Just round in circles and down useless 'rabbit holes'. Kodak now clearly yet another of those sell-it-and-run companies that only cares about sales. Do not purchase a camera from them.

Have taken better shots with my 7 year old mobile
I was really looking forward to this camera, having previously had a small Kodak digital camera purchased 2007 which took great pictures, had vivid colours, perfectly adequate at only 7 MP. This camera by contrast is heavy to carry and surprisingly not very intuitive to use and adjust, macro is not detected in auto, but has to be set shot by shot with a fiddly little button and toggle menu (so no bees on flowers), the anti-shake and moving objects features don't seem to make much of a difference as pictures are often blurred (so no birds in flight), the colours seem dull and lifeless, whilst the default setting makes for huge file sizes of about 6 MB. I specifically bought this camera to be able to take better night time pictures, for example of the moon and it took me about 100 attempts before I managed to get it to actually focus. For example with my husband's old, less powerful Canon it was no problem getting a decent shot of the moon, even in auto, showing craters and all. In the end with lost of adjustments to ISO etc. I got 3 decent ones. I also wanted to be able to have better depth control, but even with careful adjustments to the f range I have not managed to get any shots where the background blurs out. In a nutshell I am disappointed and regret having spent this money. I have taken better shots with my mobile, which is 7 years old and a lot easier to carry around.

16MP photos with 42x optical zoom for less than $160! This camera is a terrific value for the options you get. I once had a Fuji camera that was comparable, but I paid way more than $160 for it. This camera is a beauty and will be in my possession for a long time. Perfect. Update: 12/8/2017. After having this camera for over a year, I still stand by my original statement in that it is a great camera. I have had problems however with indoor, low-lighting shots. For example, a children's Christmas singing pageant had pics and videos that came out very orange and blurry, no matter what setting I used (and I was using a tripod), and also in 'It's a Small World' at Disney. Hope that song isn't stuck in your head now. But the lighting in there is similar (low-light, moving animatronics), and all of the shots I took were blurry and useless. Was trying to get reaction shots of a three-year-old (my granddaughter), but none were usable. Outdoor pics and videos are ace! Long zoom photos are ace if you use a tripod and delayed shutter. I use the two second delay so the camera has time to stabilize after I've hit the shutter button. Indoor shots with low-lighting are a problem. Not sure how to overcome this.

DSLR cameras have lens as a seperate unit where as here there is none. The lens is built-in and it has 42x zoom. All you have is a single camera piece. The charger is built into camera. Means you keep the battery inside camera and connect Micro USB to it and it charges the battery. The camera works without battery directly through micro USB ( which can be powered by power bank as well). No SD card included. You need to buy an SD card and camera pouch and an all in one adaptor (memory card - usb - OTG ) Regarding the power bank i mentioned before - if the camera dies after 30 min from the battery, just remove it and connect it directly to powerbank through micro usb and you can have hours and hours of playtime (the internal battery is just 1100 mah where as power bank is available at 20000+ mah. Indoor dim light performance is bad. Flash is mandatory. Outdoor light performance is superb.
