This product arrived very quickly and was packaged great with no damage. This tool is absolutely awesome. It makes it so much easier to care for your vegetable garden. It has helped me so much with all of my tomato plants. It is very easy to use. It comes with an entire box of staples and 10 extra rolls of tape. It is very easy to change the tape and very easy to add staples. It comes pre-loaded when you get it. Take the time to look at how the tape is strung through the unit even though it’s pretty much self-explanatory. And there are very easy to read directions. It cuts the tape very easily. I have had no problems using this and it has made my job in the garden so much easier. And you can pick how much extra room you want left for the vines to grow. Honestly, anyone who has a garden would be happy to on this. I do believe if you used it in other areas of your garden, you may want a different color tape. This comes with a bright orange tape. And I believe if you were using it on roses and such you may want green tape. This item would be a great gift for anyone that has a garden. If anyone were in the market for an item like this, I would highly recommend this one. It is sturdy and solid, and very easy to use. I do believe that this item will last a long time, if taken proper care of. If you’re tired of taking the time to tie up every vine, and want to make your job quicker and easier you need this. I know it has cut down the time in my garden wasting time. I wish I would of had this years ago. Great quality product.

The first machine we received was completely dissembled. I suspect it was a customer return as it was all apart. But oddly it was neatly arranged in its cardboard inner packaging and tucked into its box well.After an Amazon Return/Replacement was established, the second unit arrived two days later. AND it works amazingly. I have actually wanted one of these for a long time but was apprehensive about its operation, if it would work well and if it would be with the price.I can tell you right now..... if you have a need for one of these tying machines..... BUY IT NOW. I took mine into our large garden and within 15 minutes I had retied all my tomatoes and ALL the climbing cukes and cantaloupes . I then walked over to our small orchard and tied a bunch of apples that actually didn't need tying. It's fun to use and works really well. The machine didn't miss a beat, it kept working and working and working. 100's of ties without a miss... less staples of course.Installing said staples is like any other stapler...... open the press bar, install staples... close and back to work. The rolls of tape, and there are many.... will take a long time to use up. The roll that was in the machine is still nearly full. If you have a garden of any kind you need this Plant Tying Machine. I have several and LOVE them. I tell everyone who gardens to get one it will change your life. This machine works great comes with plenty of staples and tape... even an extra blade. I used it to tie up all my raspberry's new growth. I did that in just a few mins with this great tool. Works on anything in your garden, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes.... you name it. Get them for gifts for the gardener in your life.

We have a good size garden with tomatoes, zucchini, different peppers, beans, cucumbers, etc. Many vine-like vegetables. Before, I would tie them up with green wire ties, which is tedious. This is a huge time-saver! The mechanism allows you to just push the tape around the plant/stake and squeeze to create the loop and stapled it. It's very easy to allow for slack, and it cuts the tape off. All one-handed. It was a little tricky to understand how to set it for the next loop. Since it cuts the tape, you need to squeeze and partially close it to get the hook to grab the tape again - the instructions aren't the best as the pictures are a little washed out, but if you look at the mechanism you can figure it out. The tool is all metal, so I expect it to last a long while.It comes with a ton of spare tape and staples. The staples are unique to this - microscopic - so you can't use normal office staples. I do wish the tape was green to blend in better, but I suppose the intent is to be able to see the tape easily. This tool makes it so easy to set vines, and to cut/reset later. It's a huge timesaver!

I only was able to use this one time, but I could not for the life of me understand the instructions given. They were unclear, and I ended up not able to feed the tape back through the right way and ended up putting it away and never picking it back up.It is made out of quality materials and I suspect with care, it would last for a very very long time. I can definitely see the usefulness of this product, and I'm going to chalk this up to operator error, although with CLEAR instructions, someone who has no idea what they're doing (me) would be able to figure it all out.

This is the greatest buy for any gardener. Kit comes with plenty of extra rolls of material and staples. Took me a few trys to figure out how it worked and to perfect it. Best suggestion is to try it on a stick a few times to get the rhythm down. Once i figured it out, it made staking everything, much quicker and simpler. Make sure you use enough tape to hold up your plants. The more secure spots, the better. Plenty of extra tape and it's easy to put in a new roll. Definitely recommend for people used to working with basic tools. May be alittle confusing for people who are not handy.

The media could not be loaded.  This is great! I was able to tie up my tomatoes in no time. Periodically, it doesn’t grab the tape, but usually that is because I actually squeezed all the way down instead of just partially. I was actually able to tie down 5 tomato plants in about 20 minutes. Highly recommend.
