Works great!
The lightweight dehumidifier is fantastic! The lights provided a great ambiance, and there’s an option to turn it off. It is quite quiet so the first night I ran it, I wondered if it was even turned on. I noticed my room is definitely drier. I’m happy I bought it!

Small but mighty!
This is a great dehumidifier! We had some flooding in the basement level of our home, and left some of the carpeted areas were really taking their time to dry, so we bought this thing and put it in the area we were most concerned about and it started working almost right away! The tank where the water ends up is a decent size so you don’t have to constantly empty it, but the amount of water that does appear gives you confidence that it’s doing its job! Definitely also recommend if you have humidity issues that could lead to mold, as this device will suck that moisture out, no problem!

Works, but not great.
We have a 60 year old house in Texas that did not have any air vent in our bathroom which can reach up to 75-77% humidity when showering and it goes down to 58-69% in 10 minutes. We empty it every 3-4 days which gave us an idea how humid it is. So I started tracking humidity and every room and one room reaches 67-72% humidity. The small one takes a very long while in spite of it being labeled as for up to 500 sqft. The room we are trying to dehumidify is only 120 sqft. Even then it takes maybe 10-15 hours for it to work. I know it works because I see it make some water l but unlike the bigger one we have, the drip on this is super slow. I would suggest buying the one that is labeled "up to 1000 sqft" for just $20 more. I'm going to keep this product, but I am not as happy with it as the larger version.

Favorite Purchase of my Year
I live in a middle apartment that gets zero sun in the living room, leading to damp furniture blessed by the Caribbean humidity. Everything felt like living in a gym where no one wiped equipment after use. I was prepared to throw out my couch 6 months ago and bought this humidifier as a last ditch effort to at least save some sanity while waiting on a new one. This little machine is phenomenal. It is quiet and super efficient. The collection container has proven to be a good size and the auto shut off function works well. I empty it every other day but, as mentioned, I live in the humidity of a gym bro's armpit so that feels like a steal to me.Price is great, interface is simple and lighting is a nice bonus.

Can't even handle a small walk-in closet.
Needed this for a 6x9 walk-in bedroom closet with 1 door and no windows that I was having mildew issues in. Humidity outside has been in the 80%'s. The closet door was always left fully open. Previously, I had tried a fan to circulate air and also Damp Rid tubs, but the humidity was still in the 60%'s and I need it below 50%. I put this unit towards the interior/back of the closet where it was in the open with nothing next to or above it. Everything turned on and I could hear the fan, but there was barely any air felt coming out of the top. I let it run for 3 days and the tank collected about a 1/2" of water. My hygrometer never went below 58% when the unit was running and the bedroom/closet normally are 63-64%. The seller sent me some troubleshooting tips, but nothing helped. The product description photos portray "Before 80% After 50%" (or 45% in another photo), but there's just no way this little thermoelectric unit can handle even a small closet to come anywhere near the RH levels it claims. I returned this and have purchased a condenser type dehumidifier.

Works AMAZINGLY… for my needs
This small, but effective dehumidifier works exactly as I need it to - keeps the humidity down below 65% on average the humidity being 50%, all within a closet about 42 ft cubed (3 x 2 x 7). It gets this done easily so but I imagine it can moderately keep up with the advertised 500 ft sq (or ~ 3,500 ft cubed if the 500 ft sq floor had a height of lets say 7ft) & thats generous. That said, you may need to for 1000 ft cubed room & to only keep the humidity at about 60% or so, it all depends on your needs. It gets 5 stars from me because it’s performing exactly as I need it to tho it’s a relatively small space, so please consider your own needs & parameters before purchasing.

Does the job in small space
I’ve used this little unit in my bedroom for a few months and it’s really helped reduce moisture that seems to accumulate in my closets and room. Use non-stop and empty (easy to do) about every four days. I’m a light sleeper and this doesn’t bother me at all. Kind of a nice white noise. I keep the light feature turned off.Recommend.

Okay but not for the money.
It’s really a pretty low powered dehumidifier. Ran it in a small room that has cracks leading to the outside in northeast Tennessee, where it is extremely humid, and it has barely pulled a few drops out of the air in a 24 hour period. Somewhat disappointed but I guess the old adage is “you get what you pay for.”Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought it because it was cheap versus the square footage.
