I bought this for my daughter who loves gummy bears. Now she's making gummy bears using fresh berries and less sugar! She is enjoying this item very much. I would recommend to those who love gummy bears!

For me, this size is preferable for homemade gummy bears. They are excellent quality and clean up easily. As I had difficulty when trying to decide which molds to purchase for my homemade elderberry gummies, I thought I would share my recipe so it may help someone else.1 cup elderberry juice3 T. honey (varies on your preference)3-4 T. gelatin (also based on your preference for level of gumminess)This recipe filled two of these mold trays plus a couple gummy bears in the last tray. I give one gummy bear a day to my 3 and 5 year olds, based on recipes from other blogs that suggest 1 tsp. a day for children. It is probably less than 1 tsp. in the gummy bear when you include the gelatin, but my children are young, so they are probably fine with a little less per day. I store this batch in the fridge, and then make another when we are out!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product to make home made gummy bears with my 2.5 yo. She and her cousin absolutely loved it! It was easy to use and came in three different colors with matching pipettes/dropper, which is great when multiple kids want to help! The girls were able to fill the gummy bear molds with minimal help and then it was super easy to take the gummy bears out once they were ready! It left no residue and the mold was dishwasher safe which makes it super easy to clean. It did get a little messy transferring from the table to the fridge as the mold is not rigid (for ease of removing the gummy bears), but we overcame that by holding it carefully or placing it on top of a cutting board so we just transfer the cutting board and the mold all together.Overall, it surpassed my expectations!

Perfect for making gummy

We used these for making our own gummies. Each bear came out perfectly! Highly recommend. Might try a different dropper next time.
