It's the perfect size for my 5lb Maltipoo. She loves the carrier and it is so durable!

I got this to use for my cats as a way to take them to the vet in instead of the actual cat carrier that they really don't like. I have a Maine coon cat and she is the size of a big puppy and she fits but it's a bit snug for her taste. She only likes it if I keep the side zipper part open so she can put her head out. My other cats are smaller tabby cats and they love it. I guess it's just like a see thru box for them since they love taking over any box they find lol I love that this has plenty of pockets and a window they can see thru. I highly recommend this carrier!

This backpack works great for my cats! Sturdy construction and the bottom supports the cats well. The straps and the handle have lots of cushion to add comfort while carrying it on your back. Be careful of the zippers though!! I tested this backpack indoors first for a bit, and I hadn't zipped/unzipped one of the side zippers yet since the backpack had arrived in the mail. Turns out the zipper teeth weren't all threaded together properly and my cat escaped! Unzipping/rezipping it resolved the issue though and it hasn't been a problem since. One other thing I'm still unsure about is the plastic window. It's a soft flexible plastic, so I will have to see how it holds up over time, and how easily it can be damaged by something such as a cat's claws. The plastic can also warp the view in and out a bit as well since the plastic's not always sitting flat. The backpacks with hard plastic windows seem preferable to me. Overall, I do enjoy and use this backpack, and I would recommend it to others.

Loved it, but not enough breathable material available. My kitten got anxious in it and he’s temperature rise to high.

I have 3 cats of varying sizes. All 3 fit into this backpack and having it has made trips to the vet so much easier! Rather than lugging around a cat carrier in my hands, I can keep my hands free and load my fur babies onto my back! Not to mention, the backpack has pockets and storage for treats, leashes, and collars too! I cannot get over how cute my kitties look sitting in this little backpack. Each one enjoys it immensely and even sleep in it when it's not in use. I will be getting at least one more if not two to be able to cart my fur babies around in style.

I am always someone who wants to bring my kitties with me everywhere I go. This backpack is very breathable for the cats, has a few spots to open to put the cat in and out. Has a clear spot so the cat can see out. It has some pockets for your personal belongings.

I’m really impressed by the quality and sturdy construction of this backpack. It’s got lots of structure so it doesn’t cave in on our 10lb puppy when he’s in it, and he just LOVES being inside of it. It’s a bonus that it’s cute, to boot! Love the colors and overall style. Straps are nicely padded for comfort. After initially testing it out around the house, I left the backpack sitting open on the floor with the front opened up and found that whenever we’re in the vicinity of it, he immediately goes in and curls right up, happy as a clam. Although I plan to wear our pup on my front for now, it’s key that the backpack has chest straps to help offset the load. It would be nice if the opening was at the top instead of in the face of the bag, so I could let his head pop out the top but feel more secure about him not jumping out. But there’s a little side opening that he can poke his head out of too, so there are options. Our little guy loves this so much that he willingly goes inside of it and lets me transport him around in it — 5 big fat stars!

This backpack is well constructed in terms of the materials, finishing, etc. Unfortunately, I was in pain when I attempted to use this to take my 16lb cat on a walk with me. The base of the backpack dug into my lower back and was painful. I was holding my dog's leash with one hand and using my other hand to reach behind me and hold the backpack away from my back. If I were to try it again, I might roll up a towel and place it between my back and the backpack. I imagine that it wouldn't be as uncomfortable if I used it with one of my lighter cats, but I was going off of the product description that says cats up to 20 lbs.It does have a handle that will allow it to be carried by hand if needed and it may be worth trying to find a way to modify it. That said, I feel like it is a design flaw that I would need to come up with a workaround at all.
