Highly Rated, Dependable
My old clunky compressor of 30 years finally died. I wanted a new one that was portable, but still strong enough to use for larger jobs not jus inflate tires and balls. The reviews on this one was good so that's what I chose. Great decision! It's small enough to transport in the suv if I need to, and large enough to spray paint my 2 story house. I love the size, weight, strong motor, 2 hose hookups, and ease of use, Oh! and it is not all that loud.

A Powerhouse for Your Workshop and home
As someone who's constantly tackling various projects around the house, I've gone through my fair share of tools, but the DEWALT 6 Gallon Compressor has quickly risen to the top of my favorites list. This unit, which comes in at a manageable 30 pounds, is a cinch to move around, making it incredibly convenient for both indoor and outdoor tasks. The compressor is designed to handle a variety of uses, from drilling and air brushing to spraying and nailing, without breaking a sweat. The 165 max PSI and 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI pump mean you get long run times and quick recovery, which is crucial when you're in the middle of a project. Plus, the high-efficiency motor ensures that even in cold weather or when using an extension cord, start-up is hassle-free. I really appreciate the oil-free feature of this compressor, which equates to virtually no maintenance on my part—a huge plus for any busy DIYer. And with a 6-gallon capacity, I can work longer without having to stop and refill. Despite its power, the DEWALT compressor operates at a noise level of 75.5 dB, which is relatively quiet for such a robust tool. It's clear that DEWALT has put thought into the design, with a high flow regulator and couplers that maximize air tool performance, and a console cover that not only protects the controls but is also removable for easy repair. The addition of two universal couplers is fantastic for double teaming the fries and crumbs that fell between the seats in the car, as it can easily support two users. The ball drain valve is another feature I didn't know I needed, but it makes tank draining quick and effortless. Overall, the DEWALT 6 Gallon Compressor is a solid, reliable tool that's well-suited for anyone from the casual DIYer to the more serious home renovator. It's powerful, easy to use, and with DEWALT's reputation for durability, I expect to be using this compressor for many years to come.

Does the job
Very easy to set and read the controls. Very compact but does the job well. I wish it had wheels on the bottom, though. I release the air from the tank at the end of every use, and I want to warn you— it is very loud when you do that.

Powerful and Reliable Compressor for Efficient Work
I am thrilled with the performance of the compressor I recently purchased. Right from the first use, it proved to be a powerful and reliable equipment. I was pleasantly surprised by its ability to reach the desired pressure quickly, significantly enhancing efficiency in my tasks. Moreover, the noise level is remarkably low compared to other models I've used in the past, making its operation much more comfortable. Highly recommend this compressor for anyone looking for a top-notch tool!

Decent compressor
I have used porter cable pancake compressors for years, but when my last one went out I decided to upgrade to this one. It seems marginally quieter. I like the ease of the pressure regulating as you just have to twist the dial to the setting, but wish it had an actual physical gauge on the outlet. This compressor has been tossed around for a couple months now and been left out in the rain plenty. No problems, seems like it will hold up. These type of compressors are good for nail guns and such, not impact guns. They will keep us with a framing gun but will require a little patience on sheeting.

Bought in 2018
I bought this compressor in 2018 and it is still running like new. Fast refill and plenty of pressure for almost daily use. It is now 2025 and the compressor is 50 bucks higher from 2018. Talk about inflation...excuse the pun!
