Roomba Shanhai 500/600 Series Black Aerovac Dust Bin

I already replaced this part twice over the last twelve years. After some five to six years of daily use the motor that provides the suction eventually dies out and the new part is in order. Well perhaps it does last longer but every now and then I do clean it with water and dry it out and that may shorten its life to five or six years. I use Roomba in a house with a medium-size dog that sheds somewhat twice a year. So definitely there is a fistful of fur in the compartment after each Roomba run. If I run Roomba for the second time in a day it does not collect much so I reckon that this dust bin works effectively. How to replace it? Simply take the bin out like for cleaning after each Roomba run and put the new bin in instead of the one you took.

We kept getting a bin error on our roomba. We purchased this replacement bin and it has worked fine ever since. The flap you open to empty it seems a little flimsy so I’d be careful with that. Other than that, it’s great.

Actually, slightly smaller than the original dust bin. As a result, it does come loose during operation. Think I'll try duct tape. Better, perhaps, to get a different replacement bin.

Hard to open, but otherwise works well. Good replacement for one that had stopped spinning. Expensive, but cheaper than a new Roomba.

This bin is much better than the original. There is much more dirt in bin when job is completed.

Dose not work properly as stated in description for the 600 series. Dirts falls out of bin when only 50% full. Does not fit or close correctly. Waste of money. Better off buying the $40 from IRobot co. Directly. Very disappointed ☹️

This vacumm is one of the best creations ever. It helps with the cleaning of the house and I only have to keep it cleaned!!!!!
