A couple of the bolts that were used to fasten the legs were difficult to install. At first I could not get the threads to bite. Eventually, after cleaning the internal threads I got then to grab. Also, be careful not to tighten the bolts to much as the wood wants to crack.

It arrived sooner then expected. It is very well made and sturdy. It has some weight to it, you can't pick it up with one hand and move it around. So very glad I bought it. Would recommend it.

For starters it is not a railroad tie, it is pieces of 3/4” boards made into a box. This is made overseas and if it were true railroad ties and solid, it would be worth it. Mine has been assembled and outside all of 1 month and it has started to fade and warp. Also, tighten the screw just to to edge of the metal brackets. If there is a gap between bracket and wood you cannot pull it together without busting the fastener in the wood. I expect this wood to maybe make it 1 summer, then i will replace it with a solid piece that fits properly. A single piece of 8’ 8x8 or 6x6 cut in 1/2 will work much btr than the junk wood they used. I will not buy again, ever

Beautiful Bench! I bought to use as a coffee table because I didn’t want a large table in my space and some benches are great for dual purpose use; this is one of them. Solid, gorgeous wood. Feels and looks very high end. Great value for the money!
