OMSI - The Omnibus Simulator (PC DVD)

The is the best bus simulator available. The detail and physics are amazing. The was created by two German students not a whole company and it is brilliant!Maps: Includes Grundorf (route 76) map for getting used to OMSI and Berlin-Spandu (route 92/92E/13N).The spandau route is about 40 mins long and terminates at Heerstr. and Freudst. both at where the Berlin Wall can be seen. S-Bahn trains can be seen at U-Rathaus Spandau and at a working level crossing.As the game is set in 1989 MIGs fly over East-Berlin and Boeing 727 fly in to land.AI: Cars, trucks, trains, planes, people and of course buses.Buses: The MAN SD200 and the MAN SD202 are the two buses included with OMSI. Each comes in different variants such as the '77 SD200 or the SD202 D92. Both are highly detailed in their physics, textures and sounds.All buses except the D92 (which has a ticket machine) has tickets and change machines. Ticket selling can be turned on or off. Everything in the bus can be set including exterior and interior lights, heating/ventilation, Rollbands and MATRIX displays (destination displays) and the IBIS.The Stadtbus can be seen parked in the depot but is not driveable. A driveable addon for this bus is being developed.Weather/Time: Preset weather can be selected as well as user-defined weather and real world weather. The weather is highly realistic (e.g. It is difficult to drive in the snow). The date and time can be set as well as real time.3rd Party addons: OMSI doesn't end with Spandau, Many 3rd party addons are available such as the excellet single deck MAN NL202 bus which can be downloaed free of charge at the offical OMSI forum.Other buses include the MAN Lion's City (a Double Deck version is in development). Many RHD buses like the Dennis Enviro 500 have been released along with RHD maps.Maps: Bad Kinzau offers a good challenge driving through Bavaria. Bowdenham (a fictional map set in South Yorkshire but is LHD) has about 30 driveable routes and has a good British feel to it. This is my favouite map.Upcoming: OMSI 2 is in development and should be relesed before Christmas 2013. It will contain Line 5 from Spandau, a new MAN NL202 and the MAN NG272, OMSI's first articulated (bendy) bus.OMSI is well worth the price but make sure your PC can handle it in order to enjoy OMSI fully.

as a public transport annorack i have been looking forward to a real bus simulator and at last have found it, beware this is a very memory hungry game and a couple of times have had a cpu maxed out warning, still runs fine with no hold ups, its very accurate and graphicly superb, the driving experience takes a little getting used to as its on the right and of course the traffic rules are different the actual physics of the bus is well done drive to fast and it will sway (bad for passengers) and speeding and heavy braking is not good either, it would be nice to do a london version using the same program, passengers get on and ask for tickets in german which is not much help so i just click on anything and take the money and let them on , don`t forget if you drive badly they curse in german aswell and then leave the bus muttering in german aswell, all in all depite a few problems with setting up the keyboard asignments i have had great fun with this and without a doubt this is the best bus sim out there, please plesae do a london version !!!!!!!!!!!

This product is for my son and I don't know what to say about it, however he told me that it is good and the same way he thought.But after installation, it brought some software to upgrade for virus which I don't like it as I have McAfee to protect all the system. And my son said that when he first started the game it gave him a free run for 7 days but the 7 days is up and we have to pay for it witch I do not like.After that period, he is not playing it again as the system ask him to pay and from my experience, I do not want to pay the game to any website I do not trust. This is big blow for him and he is not playing it again as the system ask him to pay so he does not understand and he regret to get it.He feel awful for the system and it is now a mistake of his choice for the game.

I have played many simulation games, including bus simulations games and OMSI Bus Simulator is by far the best out there, the realism you get from this game is unreal, sometimes you can even forget your sat at a desk pressing keys on your keyboard.You get so emerged into the game, nothing else matters, and for those that find the annoying German voices horrible because you don't understand what is being said then you can find a handy little mod on the internet where you can change it to the UK Voice Pack, on top of this you can change the currency easily.The game is also expandable where you can download new maps with different routes, new buses to drive, and more. The maps you can buy can also be based on UK bus routes, and if you're lucky you may even find one where you are driving on the left hand side instead of the right hand side.Overall, really good game. I give it 5 stars.

When loading the game it does not do so correctly. When seeking advice from local computer repair shop am told that you need a much higher speck to run this game ie a Direct X upgrade. Download that ok for free but the game does not load properly so a total waste of money when wanting to load and play from a laptop - this should surely be information made available to enable purchaser to make informed decision as to buy or not! Very dissappointed as this was a birthday gift for my grandson who was understandably very dissappointed and I feel that he has not had a proper birthday present! which of course he has not.

Does not load got in touch with aerosoft they were as much use as a chocolate fire guard do not buy anything from aerosoft

très amusant et reçu en moins d'une semaine. Le jeu est très complet. il comprends même une carte qui nous aide a se situer au fils des expéditions.

Tres bon jeux de simulateur de bus je recommande vraiment tres réaliste moi j'ai un volant g27 avec on s'y croit nécessite une bonne configuration minimum sinon vendeur serieux et rapide

I love simulators that involve driving large vehicles or operating heavy machinery. In terms of bus simulators, there's plenty of them out there... but none of them are as good as OMSI. Most "bus simulators" I've played feel very cheap, are too simple, and lack any realistic driving mechanics or vehicle physics.OMSI, on the other hand, is a true simulator. No doubt about it. You get to drive a very accurate, detailed, digital version of a real German omnibus. Nearly all the dashboard controls and buttons are fully operational. The physics feel realistic. You actually feel like you are sitting high up in the drivers seat of a large machine, commandeering a beastly bus, engine roaring beneath your feet, cruising through Berlin. Did I mention that the sound effects are incredible? The engine noises are spectacularly-well done. They even captured the rickety windows and loose parts of the bus shaking and vibrating when going over bumps, which sounds extremely realistic. The graphics, however, are average for a simulator game.Someone else gave this game 1 star because they couldn't figure out how to move the bus (hint: you have to release the parking brake, and switch into Drive). Really? It's unfortunate when a product gets a poor review because people can't be bothered to learn how to use it.

G27＋ＴｒａｃｋＩＲ５でプレイ・・・ドア扱い、空調を含めてありとあらゆるスイッチが操作可能で、まさにバスの運転をしている気分になります。ＯＭＳＩは日本語マニュアルがネット上にもありませんが、有志が製作したＯＭＳＩ２のマニュアルがネット上に複数あります。基本操作はＯＭＳＩもＯＭＳＩ２も変わらないので、製作頂いた有志に感謝しつつ、使わせて頂いております。ゲームとしては、ちょっとでも雑な運転をするとお客さんが怒ってしまい、終いには全員降りてしまうという、ＥＴＳ２よりも超安全運転が要求されるまさにキング・オブ・安全運転ゲー。オススメです！

i wouldn't recommend getting this game if you have any less than 4 gigs of ram, as i do and it still lags, but this is a really great and detailed game, best simulation ive played! :)
