for any DIY project. These appear to be cold soldered so be careful with the panel when you anchor it. Due to our painter, I have a slow starting panel now and will replace it soon. No long term review yet but put them up about a year ago. These do what they are designed to do and on highest setting very bright.

Very cheaply made. NOT BROGHT AT ALL! DO NOT BUY! Also had to make my own light holder the frame that locks in is a two person job and very flimsy. Very dissappointed

Let me update my review, my previous was a bit harsh because I was extremely frustrated. Unfortunately, I am still having trouble mounting the lights to the plate that attaches to the ceiling. I will try again this weekend. Other than the mounting, the brightness and color options are great. I'm thinking, once I get it up, I will never take them off again.

Overall not super bright. They may be a equivalent to a smaller flourescent light but not as bright as the 4 foot bulb fixture it repalced. Biggest problem is there are two extra tiny wires on this. No idea why. and one of them was missing the little wire nut on it. Caused unit to short out and fail. a replacement was sent but I can see how this little wire will cause lots of confusion and issues.

I really love these lights. They have switches to set the type of coloring and brightness while installing them, which is great. They're LED so they don't use much energy. The problem I had was one was damaged. I had already had one installed before knowing about the damaged light and the company wouldn't replace just one and it would be costly to have the installer uninstall the lights then pay them to install replacements. Fortunately for me the company refunded my money and the installer took apart the damaged light and was able to repair and install it. I am very thankful for the company working with me on this issue. I love the lights.

Exactly as described. Easy to install. The light is even and bright.
