Helavo Upright Walker with Seat, Foldable Stand Up Walker for Seniors

Excellent very firm rollator. Exactly what I was looking for, large so ideal walkies but far too big for indoors but I bought it to be able to do family walkies with dogs. Love the seat, also back rest is very easy to adjust for your particular requirements. Love it!Took me a while to assemble it. Luckily a good video online helped.Not sure why handles fold downwards and are no good for rising from seat but are easy to move the rollator if you are standing.... think design fault?

Got this for my brother when he had broken his wrist and became unable to use the little version of this because he couldn't put his weight through his wrists. The machine is an improvement in so many ways that we hadn't anticipated. Resting on his elbows and being able to adjust the elbow height, his posture has improved, as has his stepping. This device is also much more stable, heading in the direction that you want it to go rather than bobbing around from side to side as the hand-held one was doing. This is worth every penny and more. It's also been designed and manufactured in Europe and you can tell when you are putting it together. It's super high quality. If I had known about this when we got the first little walker, we would have got this one.

Not yet used but appears very sturdy, I like that you stand more upright..it’s been bought as future proofing, I have a much older one of lower type that’s looking tatty but it’s very practical indoors..

For several years I have suffered from constant lower back pain and arthritis in my joints. I also have Atrial Fibrillation and get very breathless when trying to walk any distance without help. Having researched upright walkers on the internet I was particularly interested in this machine. It looked and sounded impressive but nothing prepared me for the difference it is making to my way of life. Conventional walkers can be useful but most of them cause the user to stoop over the handles and, for me, this causes a lot of discomfort. With this upright rollator, for the first time in years, I can walk up to the local town or along the sea front where we are fortunate to live, keeping in an upright position and with no back pain or discomfort in my neck and shoulders. In addition to this I have had no trouble with my breathing. For me, what sets it apart from other machines are the adjustable and very comfortable arm rests which take so much pressure off my back when walking. They keep the body upright which alleviates the pain of walking. The machine is very well built, fully adjustable to the most comfortable height and, if you get tired, it has a good seat with a padded back rest. It comes with a one year guarantee which, upon registration is extended to three years. I feel that it is giving me a new lease of life and my only regret is that I didn't know about it sooner.

Bought for my Mum who was using a cheaper bog standard walker, and as a result was hunched over when walking. I got her this one so that she could walk in a better posture, and this looks to have solved that problem... However, against my better judgement I decided to use... The instruction manual it came with, big mistake as the parts it tells you to add towards the end really should have been parts to add about halfway through, as I needed to take the armrest stalks off in order to add them (for some reason putting them onto the walker comes before adding the handle bars that go onto them for when the user sits down). Gave up on instructions in the end and went with common sense. Next gripe, back to those handlebars - you spanner tighten them to the stalks, which is fine apart from the fact that the knuts are moulded into the plastic, I obviously received a defective handlebar, as when I began to tighten them it popped out of the plastic, rendering it useless, it could no longer be tightened and held in position. Rather than the hassle of sending back, I have found a longer screw and bolt to go on the outside, and have tightened it on that way. For the money, shouldn't have had that issue, so disappointed on that score, but now it's built it seems good quality and will hopefully serve my mum for many years... At least it better had!Update5 months later and the foam on the left armrest has split, however customer service is prompt and they are addressing this issue with no hassle, so I have no real complaints at this point.

I bought this walker after the one the NHS could provide proved unsuitable for me. It was easy for my carer to assemble, easy to manoeuvre and the brakes and seat make for safe and comfortable use. I have it on thr shortest setting but the height can be easily adjusted if you are taller. It's a game changer to improve my mobility and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with mobility problems. In my case I'd had pressure sores on both heels after a hip replacement and was delayed doing physio so my balance isn't great, but I'm sure this walker will help me get back on track. Money very well spent.

Wow an amazing piece of kit. Extremely solid and well made. Amazed at how low the price is for such a well made machine. It has to be put together but my husband said not too hard and didn’t take him long. A great alternative to using crutches or a scooter. I use all three as each item gives something different to the walking experience takes away the pressure on your hand, plus a seat when enough is enough lol. A bag to carry your bits and bobs in.

Speedy delivery. Assembly requires an experienced person to complete. The walker is well made and is fine for the job it has to do.

I received a cup holder to attach to rollator like in the picture but no attachment to put it on. Is this standard??

War echt ne große Hilfe für Dad nach seinem langen Klinikaufenthalt mit entsprechender Immobilität und Muskelbbau.Aufrechtes gehen damit sehr gut möglich. Natürlich fürs Auto zu sperrig, aber ansonsten top.Die Physios in der Klinik haben über "den Mercedes" gestaunt...

Pros:1. Seemingly the only one of its kind in terms of functionality, seat width and quality!2. It does the job!3. The seat is just wide enough for a 2-3XL body.4. Easily to fold and unfold.Cons:1. I could barely fit it in my car even when collapsed. It doesn’t fit in my trunk. I wish it folded in two ways. Once in width and then in height.2. Dangerous to navigate when having to take steps or escalators. Needs a bigger warning.3. Gravel gets caught in the wheels easily.4. Tricky on LA sidewalks which tend to be bumpy. It can cause the device to nearly topple over.5. Instructions to were difficult to me. Although the assembly itself is fairly easy.6. I wish there were more instructions on finding the right device height and arm length settings for the healthiest posture.Overall, the device is good and allowed my mother to walk for long stretches. It restored her mobility after being hauled up at homes for months with fatigue and knee pain.
