This gate is well thought out. Sturdy. Nice to have a small adjustable door that my cats can go through. Nice price! Swings both ways. I like that I could install it without tools (but you can do that if you’d like).

I struggled to find a baby gate for the top of the stairs in our split level home that would fit properly and also had a kitty door for our 3 felines. The instructions suggest giving yourself 16 inches from the top of the stairs, but in my home, the wall (on the right in the photo) ends pretty much right at the top of the stairs, and the hardware holding our banister was also a potential problem. While I basically have no clearance and the baby gate is basically at the edge of the landing, I was just barely able to fit the mounting hardware right under the banister hardware and successfully install the gate. It’s a lot simpler to put together than some of the others we tried including the regalo. Kitty door is adjustable and easy to use. The hardest part is tightening everything into place (and also keeping your toddler away while you try to install this thing lol). Make sure not to cut the strap around the latch before you finish - there are multiple instructions to make sure of this but it’s important!The width of my space was just over 34.5” so I had 2 options for extensions, either the small one or the large one. The large one was actually slightly too large despite the instructions saying that was the minimum size for it. So definitely measure first and try the different pieces out before you fully install everything.Overall I’m quite pleased. It looks nice and will keep my toddler from throwing himself down the stairs. If you have a similar situation where you are needing to place it near the edge of the stairs, just make sure it’s secure and that you watch your step. You’ll get used to it.The gate swings open both ways. I can confirm it stays open if you open it past 90° and shuts and latches on its own if you open it less than that. It’s pretty easy to open, just squeeze and lift.If you’re using this for child safety, definitely take into account the size of your child when leaving the pet door open. I found a setting that was big enough for my biggest cat (who goes downstairs the most), but small enough that my toddler won’t fit through. You don’t want them trying to crawl through the pet door, so use the minimum size setting that will work for your pets and that your child can’t fit through.The price for this gate is pretty fair. The color/size I got wasn’t available for prime delivery so I ended up waiting maybe 3-4 days, but I got it no problem. The quality seems pretty sturdy and I would consider repurchasing to use in other parts of the house as the need may arise, such as at the bottom of the stairs

Small kitty gate allows cats into their litter box and gate keeps dogs out. Latchable gate works easily to allow entrance for cleaning area. Perfect for my purpose. It is a good, sturdy gate and was a little fussy to install because it is not a tension gate. It comes with two extension panels, if needed, to adjust to doorway size. I highly recommend.

Don’t mind my messy garage! We have our cats liter boxes in the garage so they need access to it, but we have a toddler and couldn’t leave the door open without a gate! This gate gave us the option to keep the door open while giving the cats a way to get to their box. We absolutely love it! It adjusts for different sizes of cat/animal. I would say it could work for a small dog/medium skinny dog. It is very strong and great quality! Our toddler unfortunately likes to try to climb on it and it has held up great. I love the black sleek appearance because it is in our open concept living area, so it makes it look nicer. My husband said it was super easy to install. It was for sure worth the money in my opinion!

This gate is exactly what I was looking for! The most important feature to me is the cat door that is adjustable to FOUR different opening sizes. It works great, and seems secure. I pressure mounted it only, but it does also come with hardware to screw it into the door frame if desired. I like the first one so much I bought a second. I'm using the gates to help create "safe room spaces" for our cat while my dog and new cat get used to each other. (and to keep the dog from the litterbox)

No, slipping or in between notches.Second, it really is One hand operation. You push down on top an up underneath, pull the gate slightly upward to bring the pin above the notch.Third, if you open it All the way it will stay open, if you open it partially, it will swing shut behind you.Forth, Finally an adjustable cat door that has 4 height adjustments! Now you can have it open just enough for any size cat or small dog. And the bigger ones can't get through. No worries about it closing on them or getting caught on parts that stick out.Fifth, great value for the price. This by Far is the nicest gate I've used with the best features. You can also add sections for wider doorways.I would not hesitate to buy this again or recommend it to everyone.As a dog trainer, I give this 5 Paws! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Installed then set pet gate. Gate keeps falling in my dogs NECK. INJURED MY Dog and I’m very upset. Not going to have my dog have a broken bone in her neck or soft tissue injury due to a DEFECTIVE GATE. REVIEWS SRE MISLEADING.
