Gentle, User-Friendly Guide to All Imaginable Tough Conversations
I've been using "101 tough conversations" for years, and this is a phenomenal and very updated supplement. There are hundreds of examples that are easy to find (you don't have to read the whole book - it's literally a reference to help you through a specific situation) and deal with quiet quitting, burnout of high performers, and other incredibly timely and relevant topics.

Incredibly helpful for my new role
I received this from my new boss upon promotion, and it’s already given me tools to help in my first several months. Would recommend to anyone who feels a little overwhelmed in a new managerial position and needs somewhere to turn.

Great Book for all managers!
Paul did a great job taking managers through the variety of crises they encounter regularly--performance issues, difficult conversations and more! All of Paul's books always have great advice and one of the best parts are the real, example conversations he shares. It gives you tips for how to handle that next tough talk with an employee. I have supervised dozens of employees for more than 25 years, and I still always take away valuable advice from his books.

An eye-opening book
Helps you develop the mindset for management and “get it”. My eyes have been opened as a first-time manager and I’ll be on a continual journey of reading more and more book and learning more. Grateful!
