The lamp is easy to assemble and not bad value for money. However I wasn't expecting a continental plug on a lamp bought from a UK site. Luckily I have adaptors or I would have been very disappointed.

Easy to assemble

Dont buy in the uk unless you own or buy a two pin plug mains adapter. Comes with an EU plug and not a uk 3 pin plug. Very annoying!! Light itself is a standard affair. Base is not very wide so not as steady and solid on the ground as id like. Only good point is that it has two on/off switches work that operate the large and small lights independently. Handy feature if you want just the small lamp on or vice versa. Probably wouldnt buy another. Theres better out there.

Fantastic value for money! So it has a continental plug? Just chop it off and rewire with a UK three pin! What's the problem? So very good - we bought it twice! Very stable metal base. Suitable for general light and very good as a reading light. Love it!

The lamp itself is good BUT if you live in EU, you will need a converter plug!!! Funny it doesn’t mention that on the descriptions!!!!

This lamp is good but you can't alter the brightness like you could on the previous one we had, but then that one was dearer. Can read with the bigger lamp on without having to use the smaller one

Be aware that when you buy this lamp it only comes with a two pin European lamp. It doesn't say anywhere in the blurb that this is so. The seller or manufacturer (or both) can't be bothered too either include an adaptor or wire a UK 3 pin plug. This is more expensive than similar [products and I expected better. I initially started a.return but find it easier to buy a converter plug. Perhaps someone would refund me the price of this plug. At over £5 that itself wasn't cheap.
