Bought this as a gift. He said it was excellent and more than he expected. Packaging looked iffy, like it might have been a return but seems to be fine.

Directional knobs are on top the stage, not a traditional clinical medical scope
Definitely not for medical field. Im a veterinarian . I Will be returning. Coarse and fine focus are in the right place but to go left right forward and behind, you have to use knobs on the stage... I did not realize until i got it. Im sure if you learned in this type of scope its fine but i need my left hand knob under the stage to twist and go directions and my right had for focus to work quickly. Otherwise it works fine

Diifficulty With Camera Software
I've only had this item for 2 days but the frustration is pretty high. A big selling point was the ability to use a camera and display the images on my computer screen. I have loaded the software , it says it was successful. I try to open it and it says there's a dll missing and it can't open. I've tried several times.I've looked at a few basic things and it's very cool , but I really was counting on being able to display images on my computer screen.
