So, quick math: 100ml of bio-ethanol will burn in this mini pit for 10-15 minutes. It's therefore easy to calculate how long of a fire you want to have, and how much it costs to run it. The flame is a bit more "blue" than a natural wood flame, but I think it looks very attractive. We burn it in our currently non-operational fireplace and it's great. I love the rough concrete look, it's not too heavy so it's easy to move if we need to, basically a great purchase.While the flame doesn't give off an odor there can be a bit of odor with the fuel if you don't burn it all (i.e. put out the fire before it burns everything off) but I don't personally find it unpleasant. There are no fumes, smoke, etc - just a very pleasant fire.

Love this table top fire pit. Great for sitting around and roasting marshmallows or s'mores. In Florida we have mild winters, but it gives off a small amount of heat, if it does get chilly.

the bottom section isn’t properly glued so alcohol spills out of the vessel and fire spreads. i’m very lucky my table is glass, not wood, or my house would’ve burned down. i can’t get any support from amazon for a return or replacement either. this is super dangerous and defective but i guess i have to just deal with it? really bogus.

Great product. I’ve purchased it several times as gifts for friends and family. Unfortunately it often has missing parts. The fabric pad may or may not come in the box. Very frustrating to say the least since you never know what you’ll receive.

Make sure to order extra wicks and fuel!
