I love the look of this duvet set so classic. Now I’m not going to lie Iv only slept in it one night, it’s a bit starchy, stiff, scratchie but for the price and the look I can’t argue, I didn’t expect it to be Egyptian cotton soft. I think if I wanted to impress anyone in the bedroom (god forbid) I’d make sure to have this set on show !!!

It looks great and exactly what I was after. So far so good on washing it and the colour not running. The fabric is not very soft though. However, great value and I would certainly buy again.

The only reason I gave it 4stars was because even though it hadn’t previously been out of the package there was a stain on it. But other than that a quality item, which unfortunately I had to return.

This is an attractive duvet set, the quality seems very good. A stylish brilliant white colour with just the simple yet chic embroidered edging round 3 sides of the cover (not to the head end). The closure at the foot end is secured with clear coloured buttons, much preferable to poppers. So why only 3 stars? I purchased the double size set for my double sized bed. No apparent issues with the cover however the pillowcases are another thing! The cases are enormous! On opening them the size immediately struck me as in comparison to my regular sized cases these are far bigger. Even accounting for the oxford styling they just seem much to large & floppy, they over hang either side of my bed, a real risk of catching and knocking over a glass of water on the side table at night. They likely would be fine on a larger king size bed, but for a regular double, to me, they just don't look right, they look messy and a bit silly. Saying that, that's the only personal negative I've found so far, have not washed the set yet as I've only just opened it to temporarily put on to check everything was ok with my purchase. I'd recommend, but just be aware if you've got a double bed and you prefer a 'perfect' neat, tidy look to your made-up bed, you may be a little irked ;)
