This tea is delicious with honey and lemon! Not to mention the health benefits. My father has high blood pressure every now and again so I had bought this for him to help aid his symptoms and he’s been drinking it consistently! It works! He feels more at ease and able to do daily task feeling healthy. He loves the color and smell of the tea, it’s been a great value for my money!

I was hesitant in buying this product from Amazon because I buy hibiscus from the market, but I’m glad I ordered it because it’s delicious and it’s organic!

This is no frills, pure, hibiscus flower. And a lot of it! The large tin came sealed and the actual flowers were also sealed in a bag. They are a vibrant reddish purple color and smell great. I scooped two spoonful's into a French press to steep two cups worth of team. I think this ended up being a bit too much as the tea was too strong.This makes a beautiful deep red "tea" with a wonderful smell. The flavor was quite tart/tangy, but a little honey mellowed it out. I do wish the canister gave brewing instructions for how much to use and how long to steep it, but a little trial and error should work to find the right balance.

I have had Hibiscus tea in the passed as a cold drink. It is what Mexicans call "Agua de Jamaica" and it's delicious. I love that I can now make it at home and drink it hot or cold. The tea flowers come vacuum sealed to maintain freshness. Once I opened the plastic package, it filled up the container it came in. The tea is very fragrant and just a few dried flowers is all I need for a nice cup of tea. The more you use the stronger the tea will come out and the darker the color will be. I absolutely love this hibiscus tea and will definitely order it again once it's done.

Packaged in a vacuum sealed bag as loose leaf form. Leaves were large. A little goes a long way as it is potent. Fragrant and delicious. I also like to use hibiscus in some of my dessert recipes, mostly for garnish and color if not just for flavor. They can also be used in candle wax and homemade beauty products. The internet is a great resource to learn different ways of using hibiscus leaves.

The aluminum canister is pretty, and efforts were made for maximum freshness like having the hibiscus in a vacuum-sealed bag, but this actually makes it difficult to get the bag/leaves out of the canister.I found that using about 1 tbsp of hibiscus per 8 oz of water, as I have done with other brands, works well for this brand also. The flowers of this product seem smaller than the last dried hibiscus I ordered from a different company. The other company also was a better value with twice as much hibiscus for the same cost. Nice packaging, loose dried hibiscus flowers in a colorful tin . Organic product was fresh, smell was pleasant. This is an acquired taste for many tea drinkers.
