Great lemon taste
One of the best lemon curds I've ever had. Very nice balance of sweet & tart.

Delicious!
This was delicious! Its sweet with a little tartness which made it perfect in my homemade sourdough bread along with some freeze dried blueberries! The texture is that of a lemon meringue pie, silky smooth, and its very versatile, cause it would be great on toast, bagels, ect. It was a crowd pleaser here at work! The price is good considering it is a product of Italy.

Lovely but use sparingly!
It performed beautifully in the trifle I was building. The lemon flavor is a little strong. I used it in dollops to blend better.

WOuldnt buy again
Either the jar I got was old or this curd is not something I would serve. Lacks vibrant color and the taste is off.

Not what I was expecting
I've heard some of my friends from the UK mention lemon curd over the years and I was curious about it, so searched through Amazon and decided to order this one. It was pretty pricey for how small the jar is, but I decided to order it anyway. I guess I was expecting something that looked and spread like lemon pie filling, perhaps not quite as sweet. This is not that. Not at all. First of all, the color is a bit puzzling, being a tan color and not yellow at all. It also has an odd consistency, not really "spreadable" at all. It also doesn't melt like I thought it would. I tried it two ways, spread between oat pancakes with blackberry syrup for Imbolc breakfast, and later on hot baking powder biscuits with melted butter. The taste was all right, but nothing to write home about. I am disappointed with this and the opened jar will likely sit in my fridge until I eventually throw it out at some point in the future.
