What are the dimensions of an individual pad?

I typically leave my wine in a carboy for about a year and use Isinglass or similiar product. Would I be able to just use the #3 filter?

Timely question I just filtered a White yesterday with a #3 filter .5 micron. I mostly only use a .5 for whites but have used it for Pinot noir before. I would think that if you are leaving in a carboy for a year it would be a red not a white. The .5 might take out a little color. If you have racked in a couple times within that year you may not need to filter at all for a bold Red like a Cab, Merlot, Zinfandel and fimilar. If not filter into another carboy and let sit a week to avoid any shock and bottle.
