Transformers Toys EarthSpark Deluxe Class Terran Nightshade Action Figure, 5-Inch, Robot Toys for Kids Ages 6 and Up

Nightshade is my favorite among the Terrans and I've been looking forward to their figure for months. They are definitely worth the wait! Articulation + I'm impressed by how the designer managed to articulate both their skinny robot form and chubby owl form. - The head sculpt is not very accurate they have a terrified look, very different from the gentle smile shared by all their siblings' figures. Material + The plastic feels quite sturdy for the main body of the toy. + The wings need to be bent a little to be attached to the main body, so it's softer and more flexible plastic, which also feels quite resilient. Paint ++ I really enjoyed the paint. It's quite accurate to the show and is uniquely sparkly. The paint on the wings is quite reflective, giving it a metallic texture. Posing + Wing rotation in both robot mode and owl mode - Arm movement can sometimes be blocked by the wings. - No waist rotation due to the way they transform + about 90-degree kick up and kick back, 180-degree knee rotation They actually scale quite well with Jawbreaker's warrior figure. Aside from that scaling doesn't exist for the toy line. But since they overall have the same proportions, the figures still look quite nice together.

This robot owl makes people very upset, but that’s okay because I think it’s cool.

Nightshade is a breakout character in Transformers: Earthspark, and it shows in the toy. Great articulation, clever storage for the knives on the wings, and the owl mode is fun! Given that it's meant to be copied from an owl statue in the show and not an actual owl, any weird style choices can be forgiven too. Plus, they have the torso for Mandroid! An absolutely essential pickup for the Earthspark collection. I hope they make a Hashtag to round out the deluxe size collection!

The transforming was super good and i love the way the toy holds extra pieces so i dont have to worry about losing them or putting them in a baggie in the drawer with the other extra pieces i have. They are my second favorite character and definitely going to be one of my favorite figures.

Transformers Earthspark is a low-budget toyline. The only reason why I'm giving Nightshade 3 stars instead of 2 is because of originality. Though the toy is a little cheap and hollow, the design is really neat, the beast mode has been rarely used, and it's fun. The toy is decent however for the price I felt like I was over charged for it; this is basically a $10 toy marked up about $7. It's a decent for something low-budget toy. It is neat. Just a little overpriced.

Nightshade is great.. if you had to get just one Earthspark deluxe… this is the one i’d suggest. And Twitch of course.

He’s very awesome. He came quicker than expected as well. Great packaging I am happy.

If I wasn’t a completist I wouldn’t have got this figure. Little articulation in alt mode.
