Will this fit in the blue oval on the tail gate

I lack experience to know how well the camera will fit the oval as described since there is no oval on my auto. Note that this camera failed a month after it was installed.

What is the video capture 480,720 or 1080?

I would not say 1080 maybe a 720. Even though It is a clear picture, but not crystal clear, it is more of a panoramic view which is good see more of the surroundings. Very happy with this camera... installed on a 2013 Ford Edge SEL

I just installed it an fix the camera issue Now on the screen when I go reverse there are two white lines that are angle not a big deal hopefully they go out in the future besides that great replacement camera for the price
