I ordered this marble maze for my 8 year old nephew who loves these types of toys. He is very good at finding ways to build structures with almost anything he has. He was excited to try this marble maze and played with it for several minutes before getting frustrated. Some of the clear pegs that are inserted in the wooden pieces had fallen out and needed to be reglued and the pieces could not be inserted into the back panel in any way he wanted them to - they only fit at a particular angle. Once he did get a maze created and was ready to drop the marbles in, the whole thing had to be held up because there is no stand on it to keep it upright. I think the concept of this toy is good, but it needs some adjustments to be the quality of toy it could be. The pegs need to be securely glued in place and the pegs need to be aligned so they can be placed in the holes in whatever way the child wants them so they can learn how different angles work. And there should be some type of stand that holds it up while the marbles are dropped in. Overall, I would recommend this toy once some changes are made to its design, but as it is right now, I would not recommend it.

I loved the idea of this marble run and thought the kids would love it being incorporated into our homeschool lessons. The idea cards are nice and relatively easy to follow for an older child or adult but not designed for a young child at all. Sadly, a few of the pieces that go into the board had their pegs already falling off when we first opened it. After less than an hour of play, with me leading, more pegs fell off to the point it became difficult to use without modification (if I applied pressure to the acrylic screen/cover, I could hold the pieces in well enough until too many pieces weren't staying). The glue that used doesn’t seem to hold the pegs well and I suspect this issue will continue with use. We only tried the chalkboard briefly and we were not impressed. Regular chalk just didn't write well or erase well without water.Overall, not worth the price listed and had I not received it through the Vine program, I would have returned it for quality issues.

I have had just as much fun playing with this as my son, maybe even more fun! Would make a good gift! It’s a good interaction and building toy!

I brought this into my special education classroom for my students to work together to figure out and play with. It was a huge hit, however, I did not give it 5 stars because I wish that it had a stand to help it stand up. It is constantly falling over while the kids are trying to work on it and I think it would be much easier to use if it had a stand. I think they will still play with it and have lots of fun, just be ready for a large sound when it falls over.

The idea of this marble run is great, but some of the pieces in the marble run came with the pegs already falling off of the wooden maze pieces. The one in our photo came out of the box with the pegs already missing. After some light play from our kids, more fell off. The glue used doesn’t seem to hold the acrylic pegs well at all. The marbles are some kind of plastic and lack the weight expected, but that could be overlooked if the rest of the product was up to expectations. The chalkboard idea was nice too, but again, it just didn’t work that well. We have multiple chalkboards in our home, and this one just doesn’t work well at all for regular crayola chalkboard chalk that works amazingly well on our other boards. The acrylic pegs are nice, the wooden maze pieces are nice except for the fact that their pegs need glued back on, the actual pegboard box are nice, and the acrylic sheet slides in and out easily to retrieve the marble or change the marble run.Our kids like playing with it, but they’re getting frustrated that every time they use it another piece just falls apart. At the end of the day it was a really good idea, but a few aspects could have been better tested for quality.
