Like seemingly every air mattress in the world, ours sprung a leak. I was about to order a new one, but decided that I would see if I could actually find the leak and fix it. I pumped up the air mattress to a "very full" level and then started feeling around for the hole. It took a few mins, but I eventually found it by just running my hand over the mattress. Didn't feel like messing with soapy water, so I was glad it worked out this way. It was a pair of small holes that looked suspiciously like they came from the cat, but he swears he didn't do it. I probably didn't need to, but I patched mine in two passes. On the first pass, with the mattress much more loosely inflated (but the spot with the holes not touching any other part of the mattress inside), I sqeezed a little bit of the glue into each hole to give it a chance to bond itself back together a bit. I let that sit overnight. There wasn't enough pressure inside the mattress to blow the glue out, just enough to keep me from gluing the hole area to another part of the mattress. About 24 hours later, I did more like the instructions said. I cut one of the patches to size, spread glue on it, and adhered it to the now-deflated mattress. I set a weight on it (I used a 10 pound kettlebell that wasn't serving any other useful purpose) and let that sit another 24 hours. Worked like a champ. The mattress held up great for the 5 nights that I needed it to, so this wound up being substantially cheaper than buying a new mattress!

I was quite disappointed with this product as I’d brought it so I could repair my paddling pool, however the adhesive to secure the patches to the paddling pool didn’t stick and so the patches just stretched and came off.

I have a huge, 4 foot diameter inflatable globe that I use in my classroom. It’s a real crowd favorite among students. Unfortunately, one day it got “accidentally” launched at the ceiling and a sharp edge punched a hole through it. Needless to say, we were all devastated… then this patch kit came to the rescue. The patch and the adhesive are completely clear in color, so you can’t even tell that Africa has been split in half and mended back together. It has been a few weeks and it has not leaked at all, so no complaints with quality or performance. The adhesive had a pretty strong smell until it cured, but there’s no trace of it anymore. Very satisfied with this product.

Recently used this item and the seal from the glue has been ideal. No mistakes or spills. Nozzle is perfect for what I need.
