I highly recommend this book!!
This book is so easy to read and makes complete sense. I especially appreciated how she broke down the different levels of hunger. It helped me identify when I’m really hungry and when I’m just eating because I’m stressed or bored. Her tips to approaching social meals were also extremely helpful. If you, like me, have tried every diet and weight loss trend out there, this is a refreshing and effective approach to changing how you eat and how you approach meals. I recommend this book for anyone and everyone who is interested in making a sustainable change in order to lose weight.

No more weight loss plateaus
This book unlocked the reason why I only got 30 day success with Keto plans and other Intermittent diets -- I was eating too much, too fast. I love the research Chantel presents on how non-dieters maintain skinny weights and have found this to be key to continued weight loss, not to mention ridding the feeling of depravation over the foods I really want by learning to savor each bite and feel the fullness queues from my body. This is a real manageable lifestyle! I love how she has researched the spiritual origins of fasting which when followed ultimately heal our body from sickness and our mind from food addictions.

Insightful, encouraging, helpful
I really enjoyed and benefited from this book. Lots of practical advice to help you on your intermittent fasting/diet journey.

I prayed and this is what was presented to me...
I am 34 years old and have been struggling with my weight since I was pregnant with my daughter at the age of 20... I continually tried and failed.But I finally FULLY submitted my health/weight to God and prayed for him to be my strength and help me in my weight struggles about a month ago. Three weeks ago I came upon this book somehow online while playing with my phone coming home from vacation with my family...I wasn't looking for anything diet related.It caught me and spoke to me so much in the sample, that I had to buy the book.I started the process 2-1/2 weeks ago, about 4 days before I actually received the book in the mail just using what I'd learned from the sample. It is surprisingly very easy to do. When I did finally receive the book, I couldn't put it down. I am reading through it a second time now to reiterate the biblical principles and scriptures.It has been 2-1/2 weeks and I am 14lbs down in my weight loss journey. My energy level has flourished and I have an all around general "feeling of good". As well as feeling closer to God in doing this daily. I work retail and am on my feet all day...pain that I have been suffering with for over a year now in my left heel has been slowly dissipating and I am very confident will disappear entirely soon.I thank God every day for sharing this book with me and continually giving me the strength to follow through with it.Hope this helps you in your journey.God bless!

Some good reminders
Read this for a refresher on dieting to lose weight. This book is more of a personal "how I did it" type of book and is useful for the beginning weight loss person. Some of her content isn't very helpful but she means well - so I just read it - knowing that the book is meant to help and inspire.

It's easy!
The only eating discipline that I have ever been able to do. It starts to feel really good waiting for the first day hunger. Using biblical principles and reading the little snippits of scripture are great. Even if some of the little snippits of scripture may not seem to be super relevant to where you're at in the book. You can't go wrong with reading any of God's words. It's really the author's research revelations that make this work.

Hard to do
I found this book hard to follow and it didn't work for me.

It's a good book, still testing the advice...
So far I really like the advice in the book, I'm only half way through but what is really resonating with me is the idea of eating from true physical hunger, that's a concept that I've never really followed. Like most people these days, I eat by the clock rather than when I get real hunger, a good strong growl. I am going to start doing the fasting window that she suggests in the book and ONLY eating when I get a growl, I'm hoping I'll lose weight following the advice, I'll give it a month to see how much progress I make. Content, although perhaps valid, just too simple.
I found the book interesting but not to my personal liking as it seemed very junior and not well written.
