This is a heavy duty, solid wood welcome sign. You can tell when you pick it up it has some substantial weight to it. It comes divided into 3 pieces, so some minor assembly is required. Each piece connects to the next with 2 screws & 2 wing-nuts. Instructions are included but it’s simple enough. All hardware & a small hook for hanging are included. You can hang one of 2 ways. There’s a notched mounting bracket on the back or you can hang from a rope attached to the top. It doesn’t work all that well for just propping up against the wall. Due to the ridges on the back, it forces it to stand upright & tends to tip over. What I really like is that it can be used with or without interchangeable plaques. The plaques hang from a hook that’s inserted over the “O”. You get a total of 6 with different designs printed on both sides totaling 12 seasonal images. I’ve had mine out a few weeks & it’s held up well. Hasn’t faded or cracked. I bring mine inside when it rains, especially since we’ve had a lot of it lately. Just to preserve the finish. So, I can’t really say how well it holds up against moisture. It’s large enough that it can clearly be seen from the road in front of my house. Would have preferred it as one solid piece instead of 3. From a distance you can’t see the seams; however, up close you can. It’s not largely noticeable, but it does take away from the general aesthetic. Overall, it’s a lovely sign. Durable & should last a long time.

This is a nice porch sign but there are some improvements that can be made.PRO:Nice size for a porch sign.There is an interchangeable round sign for holidays, seasons, birthday and even a paw print.Easy to assemble.It is a good weight.The black background with the white letters make the “WELCOME” really pop.CONS:Pieces did not line up good on ends so it’s very noticeable that it’s pieced together. (Pic 2)The interchangeable round signs were left raw on the edges so they don’t blend in with the sign. I think it would have looked “finished” if the edges were black as well. (Pic 3)It’s a little tight when you remove the round signs off the hook. In the last picture you can see how the hook scratched off the black when I was trying to remove it. (Pic 4)For the price I think a few things could be improved but it does look good on my porch.

The welcome sign went together well with the exception of one wingnut being stripped out. Luckily I a replacement that worked out just fine. The paint seems to be high quality and all the individual disks all look great.

Upon opening this sign I realized it was broken on one of the edges. Other thank that which could have been done on the delivery truck I’m not sure but the sign it self is great and the customization is awesome. Simple and easy assembly with only a few screws.
