Really good set
Ease of use: For my 6 y.o. son was brilliant. He spent all month with this toy, created something new and showed friends

Great hit with my grandson
This is a first-rate set, robustly made. The well-produced manual gives excellent descriptions of the 62 experiments and explains the principles of what happens. It is good fun and highly educational. For an enquiring child this is the best introduction to the subject, rather than rushing into the proliferating electronic and robotic sets. This year's favourite Christmas present.

Great
Got this for my nephew's birthday & he LOVES it. Spends hours just playing with it. Both following the instructions & just trying his own little experiments. If your kid is inquisitive this is a must. Seems good quality too & instructions are easily followed by children.

Electricity & Magnetism - Electronics and Magnet Study Kit
Perfect gift for young person who would like to grasp the basics of electricity and magnetism. This kit can be the first step in a rewarding career. Highly recommended kit.

Disappointing! Can’t recommend.
This is overpriced for the content of the plastic components and the very basic experiments. Delivery was poor - I was shocked to receive the kit unwrapped with a label stuck to the box. As it was a birthday gift for my Grandson the batterrd unwrapped kit was very disappointing.

Great kit
Bought as a Christmas gift for my ten year old son. A lovely starter set and he has had hours of fun. Now he wants to expand on it. Would recommend to a friend.

Christmas pressie
This seemed to go down well with my 10 year old grand daughter. She was lighting up the bulbs in next to no time, so she seemed happy with it.

No packaging and spoilt by label
Item turned up in no packaging so clearly visible what item was and label stuck on front of box! This was supposed to be a gift but label being stuck on front of box ripped whilst trying to get it off made it look awful! £45 wasted really. Box also looked ragged around edges and pieces missing.

I bought this for my grandson, but my son, and electrician / programmer got quite excited by it as a teaching tool for some of the people at work. So, yes it's meant for age 8+ but has potential as well for a classroom situation, etc., as well. Well made, well packaged, colourful, and fun as well.

My kid is 5+ yrs old and she loves this kit and does te experiments on her own by reading the book

My 9 year old son is obsessed with anything having to do with building circuits and recently has been interested in magnetism, so this seemed a good set to try next. It did not disappoint. Some of the pieces were a little tricky to snap together, but I didn't mind helping him. It seems to get easier the more he uses it. He found it very engaging overall. I love the explanations for what is going on in each experiment. Definitely recommend for any child who is into this sort of thing.

My 8 year old enjoys and is learning a lot from this kit. It is great triggering the curiousity of someone who has no background in electricity or circuits. While the parts look simplistic, they are designed as small blocks (like legos) so you can experiment with many different ways of assembling them to see what happens. You can try as many different combinations as you can imagine, and the surprising results (which lights turn on or off, whether or not the fan blows, etc) make you think hard about why and how the electricity works the way it does (especially when you have multiple circuits running in parallel and things like that). The simple block format makes it attractive to a child who wants to play but isn't a hard-core techie (yet). Having said that, the instruction booklet is perhaps overly complicated, describing the experiments and questions in ways that become boring to my daughter. We'll see if that changes as she gets more experienced with it. And because of that complexity, the magnetism experiments aren't so interesting to her as the electricity experiments.

I bought this for my six year old grandson, he loves this kit, he played with it for the whole first day and was up early using it again before school the next morning. Instructions are very easy to follow, lots of pictures to follow. I’m going to get another one for my other grandson!
