AMAZING PRODUCT
The best fish I have ever purchased from online. I was skeptical a bit at first. Was not sure whether to buy this or not but but to my surprise this fish was exactly the product I was looking for. It comes as a total frozen pack like a bag of big chunk of ice pack but do not worry. Thaw it properly. Before cooking keep it outside for an hour, the ice will melt and you will get your fish. It's supremely clean, has no odour. The freshness is unreal. It doesn't stink a bit. Soft and the sizes are huge. Like huuuggeeeeee. In this amount I bet none can provide this top nautch quality. Kudos to the seller. I will purchase again and again. One tips - this fish has no taste, I mean not sweet in taste but marinate this in any sauce or any preferred marination of yours and the fish will taste like heaven

Good Quality
Good quality but quantity might be an issue. product says 500gm, but it includes the glaze (water used for freezing) also Now I rely more on frozen seafood than fresh.

Excellent if you can savour mild flavours—or else just spice it up!
This is the first time I’ve tried Basa. Well, it’s not fresh produce (it’s frozen), but I swear you won’t be able to make out the difference. The absence of any fishy smell or the “typical fish taste,” that fishiness common to most fish... was amazing and, for me, very attractive. The texture and gentle flavour reminded me of North-Sea pollock if anything. —> Overall, I’d say many people will have an issue with the lack of flavour—and that Basa will be most loved by people who appreciate delicate flavours. Of course, you can always deep-fry it and add a lot of masala! Plus, the steep discount at which Amazon is currently selling this is the icing on the cake, as it were!

Fresh, but dont tastes so good
The good thing is: Fish fillets delivered are Very Fresh indeed. The bad thing is: Taste is not so good if you make Fish-Fry. I think these are ok for chilli fish etc.

Misleading
It’s not 500gm of fish- 500 gm is with the weight of ice- this is misleading for the customers.Also they have more than doubled the price- last week it was 187 and now it is 390 - that’s shocking
