Loud / Unpleasant / Fun / Somewhat useful in various roles / Cheap
Well I'm not going to give the impression that I'm a member of some novelty folk band! Also I'm not trying to play-along with the panel on "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" but I got this cheap and cheerful instrument to check on my sense of "Pitch" as I get older. I move the slider to what I think is Concert A440hz and then switch on a digital tuner to see if I am miles out or a half tone adrift with my pitch-memory. I haven't got perfect pitch but I note that it does vary day to day what I think a note is. So this whistle has a kind of technical use though I must admit I can also have fun recording an accompaniment on my digital piano and then playing the melody laughingly badly on the Slide whistle. Well worth the money if only for a laugh. Beware though it's LOUD and can hit the threshold of pain so don't blow it close to anyone and my advice is keep it away from Children or they'll drive you insane with the awful racket!

It is dual use
The reason I headed it as ''dual use'' is that when I tried it it just made a fun noise but bought it for my grandson after seeing Gunhild Carling play one. My grandson is musically gifted and he used for its proper purpose as a musical instrument. The article was well packed and delivered within 10 minutes of the promised time so no complaints there

One man and his Slidewhistle
Decent basic slide whistle. Arrived very promptly.Can now generated memes on an unprecedented scale. No melody is out of reach. It's red as well, signifying my musical authority.Can play Russian national anthem as well.

You get what you pay for
Have bought cheaper whistles that lasted hours not days. This one is still going strong after a year and our parrot still answers back. Great for mimicking R4 Clue games as well. Strong well made and musical.

Lots of fun
Got this as a fun idea for our zoom music quizzes, the family loved my efforts! But be warned, while some songs are easy to learn, I couldn’t get it to do the jaws theme tune. Ha ha, brilliant fun if you’re locked in an existential hell hole.

it might be a cheep plastic whistle but it works well and has a nice range of tones. If you want to impersonate a clanger - ideal.
