Great bit of kit
I’d been watching the mini pc market for quite a while, in particular Beelink models as a friend had impressed me with one he’d bought. I’m a fan of AMD processors and the combination with Radeon graphics so when this particular model popped up in the Amazon Spring Sale I felt that I had bagged a bargain, especially as my 10 year old desktop had recently died. This model is packed with top spec components and proved very straightforward and quick to set up, it’s so small that it fixes onto the back of a monitor using the VESA plate provided. On starting up the first thing you notice is how quiet it is and how quick startup is, with Windows 11 proving easy to navigate. I’m not into gaming so can’t comment on performance in that direction but from browsing, photo editing, graphic applications and general computing it’s brilliant, and at the price it represents great value for money.

Strong little machine, smaller than the size of my palm
This sff PC comes in an elaborate box with quite a few accessories including power cable, 2 types of HDMI cable, a vesa mount adapter that can be screwed on, including screws of course. The power brick is a 64W adapter with a 3pin UK plug to a barrel jack, seems to be a generic plug so should be easy to replace if required. overall the branding is very minimal on the unit with a small spinner icon on the top and the generic AMD branding with the stickers for the CPU and graphics.Ports are a plenty for this size, 2 USB 3.1 on the front with a type-c and a headphone/microphone combo jack. on the back Gigabit Realtek LAN rj45 port, 1 USB 3.1 and a USB 2.0 as well as an HDMI and a display port out slot. With the power jack positioned at the back as well.As with any new machine I always advise a clean install of the OS because you never know what was done to it, so that's what I did, however it did not look like anything was added on the first boot other than a large folder of the drivers, looked clean from first view, but its always better to clean install.!! -- Buyers note, please look into the bios settings and ENABLE Secure boot, it arrives disabled by default ,Secure boot should be enabled by default on every machine to make sure the authenticity of the OS has not been tampered with -- !!BIOS settings are aplenty, lot of items that seem to not relate to the device it self so its possibly a generic bios for all these kind of devices but adjusting the fan speed to ram up faster is a great thing to keep these devices alive for longer, mine was set to 92C to ramp up the fan to max, so lowering that to a nice 76C is fairly recommended if you don't mind the noise. (These chips are laptop chips so they are completely fine running at higher temperatures as they are designed for it but if you can keep the temps low the CPU will thank you)After the clean install just let windows update to the latest version, as it was sitting on a build from 2021.Drivers were easy to find, the 5700U has a suite of adrenaline drivers on AMD's site, chose to only install the driver only package as I don't care about additional settings. Network driver for the LAN port installed through windows update, while the WiFi 6 ax200 driver also did the same way, but the WiFi driver was not the latest so a short trip to support.intel.com fixed that part. The WiFi chip is quite good it supports the 160mhz wide channels too which is great, did not notice anything off with it seems to be a genuine chip. Bluetooth is also working flawlessly.Another note on the front Type-C port, it supports display over type-c if you have a compatible monitor and cable.Display supports YcBcRc 4:2:0 at 4k120hz and YcBcRc 4:2:2 at 4k60hz with the latest driver, on the HDMI port, I did not test the display port, but the type-c port is easily capable of pushing 1080p120hz without issues.Overall I am very pleased with this sff pc that will find its home as my HTPC in the living room for light gaming / streaming through steam-link and some kodi and youtube 4k media consumption.(on another, another note 4k youtube at 60hz works without issues, as well as Kodi 4k media with hardware decoding)

PC is a nice unit but ultimately proved unreliable.
Have been using the Beelink GTR6 6900HX 8K 32G Mini PC for around six months now as a main desktop PC with three HP 27q monitors, all running 2560 x 1140.The PC is used for CAD and 3D rendering, Graphics work and General office activities. It has proved absolutely 100% reliable, never turned off - rebooted only for Win11 updates. It is fast, quiet and can definitely recommend it.Worth upgrading the SSD to the max of 2TB.Update Nov 2023. Well, all is not well..Pc has been really reliable and been on continuous for 9 months. Had a slight desk move and then the pc just crashes after being on for a variable period, typically up to five mins.Had a good check inside and no dust, fans turning and heatsink clean.Feel this is a thermal issue but other than stripping down completely, cannot pin issue. Maybe gap pad dried out ? Maybe just decided to be a thorn and designated for the bin. Will certainly put on bench and have a look in more detail but do not expect this issue to have jumped out in such a short time frame. Disappointed and have no confidence in the PC anymore.Update Nov 2023. Expensive Door Stop!Having delved further, checking the thermals, memory, SSD etc. No change. So got thinking that this could possibly be a legacy BIOS issue from when it was updated to (EC_GTR6_V6_4_0_0_11).. Only changes was to enable powerup from PSU connection. However, restored back to factory settings and still crashes. Now lost total trust and have written this PC off.

Great little PC
Really good Mini PC. Would be 5 stars, but a bit of a hassle to set up initially. Once set up though it's fantastic.

Would have been good if it had been less flakey
Nice compact design with a lot of computing power for the £But seems to be a problem with the graphics. Kept going to black screen for a few seconds.Advertised to come with Windows 10 Pro - but instead came with Windows 11 (which I don't like much)So returned it.No quibbles - quick refund.
