Purina Proplan wet cat food while pricey is a good, high quality food for your much loved fur babies!

Since one of our cats is allergic to poultry and also in diabetic remission, it's been a challenge to find both wet and dry food without any chicken or turkey, that is low in carbs, and that she will eat, since she is a little picky. This flavor, and the Beef and Carrots, has been a big hit at our house and Tessa has had no stomach problems. Cats can be weird - liking something today and turning up their nose at it tomorrow, but this one is consistently a big favorite with all 3 girls.

I found this brand when searching for a good cat food product that isn't filled with by products. The Purina Pro Plan wet cat food rated 9.9 out of 10 in heath for kitties. I got two flavors that were on sale, only 5-6 bucks more than the cat food I usually get, and these cans have about 1/2 ounce more food in each. Our cats seem to like it and I feel better giving them something that's much better for their health.

I am so tired of this. Purina doesn't give a damn how they make their products. It is known to every cat owner that water intake is ESSENTIAL in cat's diet. As felines are not big in drinking, a lot of moisture has to come from wet food, hence the average 75-80% water content of canned cat foods. Did I say this is ESSENTIAL? Look at the pictures. This is from one box. Three of the cans have NO LIQUID (gravy) in them, while one is normal. I had this situation with my last order and thought it was a fluke. But this new order has the same issue. Look at the pictures. I don't even have to tell you which one has no juice in it. There is a hole in the middle, as if the gravy injector went in but didn't add anything. It's just dry as a bone!!!!!!!!!!!! Of the 4 cans only one is how it is supposed to be. PURINA, IT IS JUST WATER. ADD IT TO THE DAMN FOOD.

What is frustrating is sometimes the cans have a good deal of gravy and then most times when I open a can it is packed with large chunks of food that have to be made smaller for the cats to eat the food. I warm up their serving then start mashing it with a fork. I do wish the consistency were much better. Most times there are so few pieces of carrots and rice it seem you are putting in just the minimum so you can call the food beef with carrots and rice. 4 rice bits and 6 carrot bits per can. That is just sad. What is going to happen next I wonder.

Cats, like people, seldom agree on anything - or they like something for awhile and then lose interest. All three of our picky cats love and continue to eat this Beef, Carrot and Rice recipe/flavor! That’s a win!

My cats seem to like this one more than the other flavors. They're hairless so they tend to be picker than the previous ones I had. I've constantly changed it up because they got bored, refuse to eat it, and let it dry up. They've had from (Merricks, Tiki Cat, Wervuva, & lots more) high end ones, for some reason they gravitate to this one the most and the longest.

My kitties are very particular and they love this brand and eat it every time, And never get tired of it
