This is the easiest stuff to use. It contained everything the worms will need including food for about 6 weeks. When you get worms they usually have that nasty dirt. The stuff that stinks as it nears room temperature. This stuff stays clean even after the worms have used it all up. This is the best stuff, you can use it to replace the dirt in the worms that you buy. All you do is put it in water until wet, then squeeze out the excess water, and crumble it up in what ever container you have for the worms. Cool product, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Use this product for keeping worms healthy for fishing. Have used this product for many years, but ordered this size so I wouldn't have to keep ordering the smaller size. Keeps the worms very healthy...very satisfied!

I raise super reds to feed my axolotls and was planning on buying supplies from the word supplier. I decided to see what Amazon had and ended up spending a 3rd of what I would have paid. I didn't really read the reviews in depth. I skimmed a few and expected something similar to peat moss so I was a bit surprised at what I received. Instead of using this stuff straight, I mixed it with the "bedding" I received with some worm cocoons, mostly because I didn't want to have to sift out the cocoons. Overall I am very pleased.I bought this because this is food and bedding. Expecting to have to feed them later on, I also bought food along with this. I bought this because our worm bin had a mold issue with fresh food, despite not being overfed, and that agitated my husbands allergies. My hopes were that this wouldn't have the same results and so far, my husband does much better around this product.I've noticed there is more breeding and I've had less worms escaping. The true test will be the new order that is coming in next week.Overall, very pleased with this product.

This stuff has been good for bedding. The first step is to ...follow package directions... for the amount of water to add. This tote is not big, I keep the lid on, but it is not air tight. I add powered worm food, ( not mold below my hand). The canadian night crawlers are getting quite plump ! I know the package says to change every 6 weeks. I used to do that, but it seemed to disrupt their little lives. I have not touched this batch for 5 months, just adding food 2-3 times a week and a LITTLE water, once a month. I have tried the frabill "fat n sassy" but all of my crawlers died. So back to this, just for bedding. Once fishing on the boat is in full swing, these guys will be gone, and restart in October.

I can start with 12 nice crawlers and after a month in the bin I have way more that the original 12. I'll start fishin season by putting about 3 dozen and keep going through the season not having to restock. I don't have to worry about smell from dead worms since I have yet to find any after I cull at the original dump in .

It works well enough. I didn't know that this brand was made out of newspaper though. I mixed some peat moss in to it.

I have a worm bin that I use to grow worms for my axolotls and I do not compost. This is perfect because it does not smell and I can keep it in the house right next to my tank

This product is great. The price is low and it lasts a long time. I definitely will continue to purchase in the future.

The product seems to be working well .... it is important to have the new bedding the same temperature as the old stuff.
