Q: Are these made in china? i hope not as being uk made is what attracted me to sealskinz?

Made in China, don't be put off by that fact. All Sealskinz stuff is very good quality. I've got a hat, this hooded hat znd their excellent mountain bike gloves, wouldn't buy anything else at this price point.

Q: Can it be worn under a motorcycle helmet? I need comfort, protection from rain and practicality.

Yes. It's quite thin. It works.

Q: can it be worn as a hood, i mean if it is not on you head it is lying on you shoulders above the coat?

when the weather is dry, I slip the hood backwards over my head and it gives good protection as a warm neck covering, I have been very pleased with this item

Q: What size advertised looking fo l /xl but no size selection on page

55/57 for small/medium and 58/61 for the large/extra large. This was from the Sealskinz own website size guide.
