Becoming Bulletproof: Life Lessons from a Secret Service Agent Paperback – March 12, 2024

Evy is a genius with words and practical examples. Every household should have a copy of this book. It's so simple and clear to understand, follow along and go back and re-read at anytime. I purchased the Paperback version and I was simply too excited to wait, I went ahead and got the Audible version in the mean-time. I'm already halfway through it and can't wait to sit and read when I get the physical copy. It's really life skills Evy is teaching, communication, self-regulation, purposeful action. If it were up to me, these teachings should be on the school curriculum, they are that insightful. I'm already putting some techniques to practice at my job! I would give this 10 stars if I could. Even if you don't like to read you would love this book.

This was a very good book. I dare you to start it. You'll be hooked. The valuable information is presented through stories and reflections. I enjoyed it and learned from it. I would definitely recommend this book.

Likes: This book is jam-packed with information and lessons from Evy's career. Lessons that will help you become more "well rounded" so to say. Being able to see the experiences through her eyes and writing style is an irreplaceable experience with a known genuine feeling with mentions of trial and error making this book very easy to relate to as a person. I do not normally read but I had seen an interview with Evy for her book on Youtube. I was excited to read the book after the interview.Not only do I thank Evy for writing this book. Evy also gave me an enthusiasm for reading. I'm now excited to read! I plan to reread this book in a few months. It is a book that you will find yourself wanting to re-read just in case you missed something!Dislikes: There's nothing to dislike

Amazing book, love this author and her wisdom. What was interesting about my copy is on page 176, it reverts to page 146 and there are about 30 pages that repeated. Not sure if I missed out on any of the other content but there was repeated 30 pages between 146-176

So inspiring, educational, and interesting to read !Loved hearing a woman’s perspective on working in the secret service. Amazing.

I saw Evy on the DOAC podcast and bought the book off the back of that. Highly recommended. Full of useful tips and perspectives.
