Sub-$100 Solution to a $500 quoted problem
Here's the story: We live in Florida and have quote a few large oak trees on our property. Some of the branches were starting to grow towards our house, some were starting to cross over the fence line towards the street and over the driveway, which prevented the delivery trucks from wanting to drive in. Also, being that hurricane season is here, I wanted to get rid of excess branches and push the weight away from my home. Initial Quote: I got a quote from more than 1 tree trimming company to just get the sides trimmed off and make for better visibility, and they said that they would have to charge me hundreds just to get a dump truck out there, let alone do the work I was asking for. Over $500 for one round of this, and trees grow, so who knows how often I'd need this to get done. Purchase and Recommendation: I bought this and a bottle of Dewalt oil that was recommended for this, and I recommend anyone who purchases this gets the same oil with it, or similar reputable chainsaw oil, as it has a reservoir. All in, about $100 after discounts, shipping, and taxes. User Experience: I got all this done in a matter of one hour of trimming with this thing. I'm a short 5'7" 130lb male, not strong at all. I found that this product was indeed high-speed at cutting, and made quick work of any branch I could reach that I wanted to cut off. Like a warm knife through butter. I let gravity and the blade do most of the work, keeping the unit stable as much as possible. It is indeed top-heavy, however, I can see why it's so heavy with all extensions attached. It's a very strong unit and it's basically all housed in the front, minus the trigger and the power. Strap: I found that the strap was really only useful for when I was moving from place to place, I would hold the unit completely verticle, like a rifleman, and most of its weight would sit on the straps, keeping it balanced with one hand. Otherwise, honestly, the strap was not well placed and is more in the way when trying to make a proper cut or reach just a bit more. Battery: The battery definitely lasted throughout all the cutting I did, though I wasn't cutting for much time. It's much lighter than a gas-powered variant would be. Overall Review: I recommend this to anyone who needs to cut some hard-to-reach branches, plain and simple. It's light, it's fast, it's functional, and it does what you need. It dismantles back into storable pieces—great tool to have in the landscaping arsenal.

Litheli makes good tools.
This saw works great. With the full extension i cut a problematic limb that was hanging over my pool, I couldn't get to it because it was too high, and even if I did, it would probably damage the liner when it fell. But I'm having the liner replaced, and this was go-time. So, I got this and it worked better than I expected. I've trimmed down a lot of smaller ones and those were no problem, but the big one was a real concern, probably 5+ thick and maybe 18ft up, and it took it down easily. Now I'm out of limbs, but that's a good thing. In the shorter extension setting, it's still pretty handy to have around. I've purchased several of these Litheli products, they're all great quality for the price, and I like the swappability of the batteries. Charging them via USB is a very intelligent design. I've been very happy with all their tools.

Good value but beware the weight at full extension
I gave this pole 4 stars instead of 5 because the weight as advertised was incorrect and it is not easy to use at full extension due to the weight of the motor/bar/chain (see below). I appreciate useful information in other's reviews so I try to provide that in mine. I was looking for the longest reach pole saw I could find. I have an iWorx electric pole saw that works great, but the length is only 7.5 ft. It can be extended further, to nearly 9 ft but becomes too unwieldy because it is so top heavy. I purchased the Lithell pole saw in part because of the good reviews and because it extended to 10.5 ft. and claimed a 17 ft working height with a 6 ft person (my height). The weight given in the specifications is 4 kg (8.8 lb for you non-metric types) but the actual weight when I weighed it was 10.8 lb. My iWorx saw weights 12.6 lb. The head (motor + blade) of the Lithell is 5 lb versus 8 lb for the iWorx. Don't let that lighter weight fool you. On full extension, the saw is top heavy and requires effort to manipulate and control. I am in excellent shape and use of this tired me out, especially if I was holding the saw at shoulder level or above. The shoulder strap really does nothing to mitigate the fatigue or challenge of using the saw at is full extension. Before you buy this, find some way to see how you manage with a 5 lb weight at the end of a 10 ft pole. That said, I have used the saw once, to trim a lot of dead, dry leaves on some very tall bird-of-paradise plants. It worked very well. I did not tax the battery despite making some 50+ cuts. Although awkward to use at full extension, the pole felt solid and not too wobbly. It cut very satisfactorily. The design is sleek and the saw overall felt solid and, hopefully, durable. I am happy with the purchase. When I have used it a bit more, I will plan to post another review. I also checked out a Craftsman electric pole saw but the lack of automatic bar chain oiling was a non-starter for me.

This Pole Saw is a Beast!!!
I was hesitant at 1st when I ordered it because I have always bought gas chainsaws. Don’t be fooled by this electric saw. This has some serious power and I cut some big lower branches off a ginkgo tree that is probably almost 150 years old. It cut through like butter and i trimmed up a few more trees on the property and cut for about 2hrs and the battery was only down to 50% when I was done using it. The only thing I wish it had was a regular chain nut and a tightener. After a few cuts you will have to loosen the screw and pull the 8” bar out and tighten it down again. The chain is great at using bar oil, I filled it up and it was still good the entire way through. My gas chainsaw eats up bar oil but this thing stays lubed with a little bit at a time. Other than that I never used the strap that came with it. It is front heavy but once you have it up above your head it’s actually pretty lightweight. I read the reviews and others had issues with the chain and bar oil. I had no issues installing the chain on the bar or filling the oil. It doesn’t come with bar oil but you can get it anywhere that sells motor oil. It’s very quiet when running and very durable to cut smaller branches. If you have bigger branches than grab your gas chainsaw with a bigger bar. The functionality of this saw is great and very easy to assemble. Every piece has a power connector with a slot so you can’t mess it up. 5 star Seller ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It took a few weeks to get it but it was well worth the wait. Lowes and Home Depot and harbor freight had them for way more $$ and I read the reviews on the name brand ones and they all have some serious issues. I used this saw and put it to the test and it’s legit tough as heck. You won’t regret buying this saw to trim trees on your property. Hopefully this helps the next person out.

Great battery
Excellent Toole overall. Battery has a long life and it charges quickly. The extension rods make it very useful for medium to high branches. Love it!

Awesome customer service team!
I am actually giving this a 5-star for their customer service! The first saw we received did not work, the battery would not charge. My hubby contacted the seller and a new battery was shipped right away. Unfortunately, that one did not work either! He contacted customer service again and they have now relaced the whole saw! Amazing! We both appreciate the great customer service by the Litheli team.

Faulty equipment
I purchased this unit to trim a few dangling branches overhead. I attempted to cut them but no good. Then I thought maybe something easier and tried trimming a paper tree. It would run but not cut. I used some garden scissors to trim what I attempted to do. Thinking maybe I’d received a faulty chain, I purchase more here on Amazon and replaced the chain. At this point it just has to be the unit. I’ve purchased new chains, bar and chain oil and fully charged the battery and it will not work. I may have no choice but to return this
