Accurate readings, and very easy to use thanks to the bult in battery and big top pan. Reasonably priced considering you could get by without this item, but ultimately I thought it was worth it based on the ease of use.Not too bad to store either, and can be used to weigh adults too, so no need to keep two sets of scales out.

Just a note, make sure they're on a hard floor and not carpet. As for the setup and instructions, it couldn't be simpler. Basically, slot it all together and the buttons are self explanatory. I got the scales to weight my two cats and chihuahua, as I've had no luck with balancing a box on normal scales. As suggested, I placed a towel on them and this did help. The scales are very sensitive, as in my chihuahua would stand still but move her head from side to side and it kept adjusting by about 0.01kg. My cats weren't so still and it would jump about by about 0.3kg. Naturally, with movement, I expected this, which is why I was pleased with the idea of the hold button. The only thing is, is that it's a bit slow to respond. Hence, the weight that you press the button on, isn't always the weight that is recorded.Impressively, the weight is recorded the same wherever my cats or dog stand. As in, they can be in the middle or down either end and the weight will be replicated. I even checked their weight against the vet's scales and they were very similar. They do have a habit of tipping and gathering fur though. I also love that I can use them as an adult, just a shame that they don't have stone and pounds as an option.

The part which you attach to lay the baby on also has a scale to measure the length (in centimetres) . I was impressed that the weighing scale can be set to read in metric units as well as pounds and ounces (not just decimals of pounds). The finish is smooth but not slippery and should be easy to clean and disinfect.The scale MUST be placed on a hard surface to measure correctly, I attempted to weigh my daughter on the carpet and it didn't take a reading. The window to read the results is large enough and clear.Two AAA batteries are provided. There is no memory function other than to hold the current reading.I checked the results against another electronic scale and found it was accurate. I also liked that it will shut off when not in use.

The cradle for putting the baby on also has a scale to measure the length. (In centimetres) . From a reputable brand, such as tommee tippee, these scales didn't disappoint.They seem to be fairly accurate when used on a hard surface (not carpeted). When baby is still they give a good, precise reading. If baby is a wriggler, it does have a hold function, but that doesn't always read the same as when I press the button, as there is a slight delay for it to record it's reading.Comes in 3 parts which are simple to put together, and comes with the batteries required. Also has a height measurement scale on the tray which is useful for documenting babies growth.These scales are relatively affordable and make it so much easier to document babies weight at home.They can also be used without the baby tray, for adult scales up to 100kg. Good value for money.

Hi, you can’t go wrong with the brand, it’s a good piece of kit, The Tommee Tippee Digital Baby Weighing Scales are a great addition to have in your home for your newborn. The simple and smooth design allows for comfort and makes it's easy to put together and take apart, which means it doesn’t take a great deal of space. The item is provided with 2x aaa batteries so you are able to use it straight away. It's great that you can weigh your baby whilst also measuring their length, with a scale from 0-75cm. It has three simple touch buttons to help control the scales, so that you can turn it on/off and change the measuring unit to your preference. It's great that these scales aren't just limited to measuring a baby's weight but can be used for all members of the family too. Overall a great additional product to the family home 😀
