Nice moisture barrier
This is a great lip balm that creates a nice moisture barrier and makes my lips feel protected in dry weather. I like to use a lip scrub and then put this on to help with the healing process and for cellular turnover. It looks like a lip gloss but actually is very long lasting and doesn't irritate my lips even when I wear it all day.

Works really well, but overpriced & has a tacky feel
Alright, so this lip treatment works SUPER well! It's been a couple of days since I exfoliated my lips, and I live in a desert, so my lips were getting kind of rough today. After using this lip treatment once, WITHOUT exfoliating my lips first, they are much softer and more nourished (now only just *slightly* in need of exfoliation).HOWEVER, I hadn't meant to apply it before exfoliating... I had opened the cap to examine the product, and IMMEDIATELY a bunch of the product oozed out (likely due to altitude changes in shipping - I live at a very high altitude). I quickly swiped the product off the applicator and put the cap back on. I used it on my lips, but a little goes a long way and I still had TONS of product left on my finger. So I did what I always do with too much balm - applied some to a couple of spots on my body that needed some irritation relief. This product works pretty darn well, and the "active ingredients" are very nice, without anything I'm allergic or sensitive to. I really appreciate that it is unscented. But there is a somewhat tacky feeling to this, more like a thick lip gloss than a balm... Because it is, indeed, a very luxurious, very thick, very nourishing lip gloss. The container is quite small, as other reviewers have stated, it should be either twice the size or half the price, even for a very good lip treatment such as this.

I like it!
This is a nice luxury lip balm! In addition to moisturizing well, it adds a pretty shine to lips, so I feel I can wear it out and about.

Thick & Glossy▪️Hydrates Well▪️Good Ingredients & No Fragrance▪️May Irritate If Salicylate Allergy
Biba de Sousa “The Lip Treatment” comes in a convenient squeeze tube with an applicator tip that makes it easy to apply and spread without using my fingers. I habitually keep product on my lips as they get dry easily. I like how this balm feels as it’s comforting and hydrating when I use it in moderation.* It feels just a a touch sticky, but not in a bad way. The consistency is nice and thick, but I can get a thinner application by not pressing the tube as much (though a generous amount extruded the first couple uses). This balm is good day or night. It looks shiny and can replace clear gloss during the day. But I especially like that it provides long lasting protection and hydration at night; I can still feel a thin layer on my lips in the morning. It feels nourishing and leaves my lips soft, smooth and conditioned feeling in the morning. This balm hasn’t irritated my lips when applied just at night or once or twice a day, but it was the only thing I used a couple days (day and night) and I started feeling mild irritation keeping it on my lips constantly.*However, the formula has no flavor, fragrance or obvious irritants and has some great ingredients with anti aging, hydrating and/or soothing benefits. I just think I have sensitive skin and odd contact allergies. And I this has radish root ferment, which I’ve just read gets salicylic acid from soil. I’ve noticed before that my skin doesn’t tolerate salicylic acid well and suspect the constant use of a product with salicylic may have been too much for me. Still, I can and do use this lip balm in moderation and think it’s a top notch lip treatment, so I’m rating it 5 stars. Manufactured in USA (globally sourced).

I need it
It is colorless and odorless. But it has a very good moisturizing effect and slowly moisturized my dry lips.

Very moisturizing and excellent treatment for damaged lips
This lip treatment comes in a box which was probably unnecessary since all the same in formation is on the tube of lip treatment as well. The tube has a screw on cap and is a soft plastic to squeeze out the product. The opening seems bigger than other lip balms I've tried and is slanted for easier application. It's also at a different angle than others I've tried. It seems like it's almost angled like 30 degrees off to make it more ergonomically correct when applying it. Since it has a large opening, it is easy to squeeze out too much product. Also, the product itself is not super thick in consistency so I'm always careful not to squeeze out too much. Plus, a little is all I need to spread across my lips. I found that the product stays on my lips a long time after application. It really hydrates my lips very well. It does leave a bit of glossy look so I am mainly using it at night now before I sleep. I find that it has helped quite a bit in making my lips feel hydrated the next day. This is an excellent product even at its premium price.

A new favorite
I'm not sure if I've ever used an entire tube of lip balm before. This one is almost empty. It has everything I've been searching for in the "perfect lip balm". It's not too sticky, unscented, and moisturizing. It also has a feel that I really like. It's hard to explain but it makes my lips feel "cushion-y" like I can feel a soft bouncy layer of gloss there. I absolutely love this feeling in a gloss. I use this during the day in thin layers and really glop it on at night. My lips are nice and soft when I wake up.

Nice hydration, but might not be best for sensitive lips
This Biba de Sousa lip treatment gives my lips an instant boost of hydration and makes them feel softer. The texture is similar to my go-to which is the Carmex Classic Lip Balm that comes in a tube. My husband calls it sticky, but I like the feel and think it's lightweight.I like that this doesn't have any added fragrance or color. However, it has radish root ferment lysate filtrate which might not be the best choice for sensitive or chapped lips like mine. This ingredient is probably used as a preservative here, but it is also known to contain salicylic acid which can help with exfoliation but also be drying if overused. So, it's not something I will use daily, but I'll use it as an occasional treatment.
